Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost a Great Travel Jacket Nice jacket, very nice material and construction but too short for me, I’m 5’8. Wanted a jacket to at least cover buttock almost. When zipping jacket up to neck easy to get material caught in the zipper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for rain This jacket looks nice and fits well. Very light, packable material. The hood is way too long in the front. It hangs down well past my nose. No amount of rolling or folding keeps it from blocking my eyes. The brim won't stay up but even if it did, it still covers my eyes. A velcro adjustment strap at the back of the hood could have fixed this. I wore it around the house for an hour and no sweating. I was almost willing to suffer with the hood blocking my eyes because it was so comfortable. But... conveniently for review, its been raining here for days. I stood outside in moderate rain for 3 minutes. The hood thoroughly annoyed me as expected. But when I went inside, I noticed the liner was wet in the area of the shoulders and upper back. Looking closer, I could see that the outer shell material was darkening from moisture taking hold. This was not a pinhole or seam leak. The material is just not waterproof. I would call it water resistant but is seemed to get less repellant each time it got wet. A few water drops will bead up but after a minute the water infiltrates the fabric and wicks right through to soak the liner and then your shirt. This jacket would be fine as a windbreaker or to protect from splashes while fishing or boating but actual rain will soak through in minutes. Not a good rain or wading jacket. I'm sending it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How to enjoy life. I bought an exact replica of this jacket about eight years ago. Although the original jacket is still serviceable and being used, it began to show signs of wear around the neck where the hood join the shoulder. The rubberized material is beginning to peel. The rest of the jacket is still in serviceable condition. Considering the amount use and abuse, this jacket keeps the rain drops off my head and body. I now keep the old jacket with my fishing supply, never leave home without it. I use the new replacement in lieu of the old one when I go for my early morning walk in chilly or misty weather. If you are an outdoor guy, this jacket is for you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wading Jacket Very disappointed in the quality of this product. Very cheaply made. Have been an LL Bean customer for over 50 years. This is "hands down" the worst product I have bought.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just the Ticket This is the perfect wind jacket for all conditions except flat out rain. It's waterproof, windproof, very lightweight and a great outer layer for everything but all-day rain. It doesn't mind snow either. I used it every day this winter for my walks. Only reservation, the thread holding the cuff came loose and didn't appear too strong to begin with. A small thing, but it keeps the jacket from being perfect.
