Men's Fleece-Lined Flannel Shirt, Traditional Fit is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 1260.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific shirt! I wear these shirts in Men's small - it's a great warm shirt for around the house or running errands. My daughter gave me my first one years ago and we both said it was missing one thing - side pockets! But now you have put those side pockets on the shirt - and the shirt is perfect!! The only thing I suggest is nicer more traditional plaids, maybe even some solids...I would buy several more - I really like the shirt that has a hood too! The women's fleece lined flannel shirts are not long enough, have no side pockets, and the flannel is not the soft brushed flannel that the men's shirts have. This shirt is an everyday winner!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Overshirt If you are looking for a great over-shirt to wear on a chilly day this is it. I like to wear it outside over a base layer and it's comfortable and warm. I also like to wear it inside on a day that it's cold and rather than pull on a sweater, I can regulate my level of warmth by how many buttons I use. It's really an outside of the pants shirt for me, but on a really cold day I might tuck it in and put a down vest on as well for going outside and still have arm movement freedom to chop some wood or other physical activity. The size, fit and overall quality of the shirt is your typical excellent L.L. Bean. Get one...you won't be disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Arms are too short I bought this for my husband. He is 6'3" and about 170 lbs so finding clothes that are long enough in the torso/arms but not way too big in the body is a challenge. That has left is with a few stores that make Talls and always require online ordering so we can't try them on. This shirt has amazing construction and looks like it would be great as a warm casual shirt, BUT the arms are way too short. The length was fine but when they made it I think they forgot the "Tall" part when they put the arms on. They fit like all of his "normal" shirts do. Since this shirt isn't a narrow fit going to a large wouldn't work as the medium was already almost too wide.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too big and too small, but nice shirt It ran too wide/big as a large tall (I could have fit myself twice inside it). I usually wear large tall, but the large was really wide. So I reduced to a medium tall (which I haven't purchased a medium shirt since middle school) and the body was slimmer, body length was good, but the arms were barely long enough. One wash and the arms will probably be too short. I'm rolling the dice and going to try to not wash it because I really like the shirt. In a way it ran too big and too small at the same time. Too big in the body/shoulder width for a large, too short in the arms for a tall shirt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shirt, but less flattering line with pockets I bought another one of these shirts for myself, a female, now that size small is back in stock. Last year I bought a size small in black watch, the shirt quickly became one of my favorites. It was oversized but very flattering, because it draped so nicely. Gave a very slim & flattering profile - the opposite of a boxy look. The pockets that have been added at the hip to this years version are handy and probably will be a plus to most. But they add bulk and change the line of the shirt. Still incredibly warm, soft, lovely fabric (I got the apple cinnamon plaid and love it) but not as flattering a line as the old shirt - makes me look wide in the hips which I'm definitely not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully warm and soft I am a woman, but I bought this men's shirt after having been disappointd by the women's version of it. You can read my review of that shirt on its own page. The men's shirt is very warm and very soft, both on the outside as well as inside. It has two large pockets for your hands as well as two breast pockets. I'm 5'3" and have a small build. I bought the men's small. It's longer than the woman's version, which makes it appear less boxy. It's only a little wide in the shoulders even though mine are narrow. I love the sleeve length - long enough for me to fit my whole hand inside on a cold day. Even though my body hovers on the petite side, the sleeves on the woman's version of this shirt are too short!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For a woman! I bought this shirt for myself (female) in a man's medium. Of course, the sleeves are a little long as is the tail, but that's good as it covers the "behind." I normally wear a woman's large (14) or extra large if layering. It's warm and loose enough to wear over another med weight shirt, or I'm hoping in late spring to wear it alone. The fabric is soft and it washes well. The main reason I bought a man's in this style rather then the women's that's offered, is - pockets! It has two chest pockets and two side pockets. I'm someone who must have pockets for all the Kleenex I use during the cold weather!! Overall it's a good fit for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent fit for tall consumer Purchased this item for my husband for Christmas. He had one similar to this(not LL Bean)that I accidentally shrunk in the dryer. This was to replace that one and he absolutely loves it. Was very excited to see they had tall sizes offered in this product. He is 6'4" and it is very difficult to find shirts that the sleeves and bodice are long enough. We live in Louisiana and this is the perfect shirt to take the chill off on those few crisp mornings we have. He is in the construction field and sometimes you need a lightweight shirt to keep warm on those days. As always LL Bean comes through with their products and service.
