Women's Casco Corduroy Pants, Straight-Leg is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 330.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsatisfactory Fit My Classic Navy Blue Size 10 Favorite Fit straight leg cords were delivered yesterday. Sadly they may go back. Waist was hard to button, and I would say the leg shape is way too 'skinny' rather than straight. The transition from hips to legs is way off. Silhouette not flattering. Fabric is 'thinner' compared to previous years' quality. Only tried them on for fit, but afterwards the knees were already bowed out and wrinkles everywhere. I am an 'older' women who does not like the 'skinny leggy' look. Yet I want to be stylish. Having been an LLBean shopper for nearly 25 years, my critiques have been rare. I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality My wife was very excited about getting these pants. She needs corduroy pants for work during the winter as a teacher in an outdoor preschool. When she put the pants on, the metal button which acts to close the pants separated and came out the bottom and top and fell on the floor. The material was also very thin. If this were our first experience with LL Bean (customer since the early 1970's), we would be loathe to shop here again. Bean's needs to up its game in corduroy pants. We spend the majority of our clothing money per year on Bean's products because outside of our experiences with corduroy pants we are pleased with the quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from shrinkage I have 4 pairs of these size 6 corduroy pants purchased last year. After several washings they continued to shrink much to my disappointment - some more than others. This year I ordered a pair size 8 and after only 1 washing in warm water, cool dry they had shrunk to the same tightness as the size 6. I'm very disappointed by the decline in the quality of the fabric Bean is using - a trait I've noticed in their jeans also. The medium tall size is perfect for me and I've been wearing Bean pants for years. Unfortunately now I can't rely on their sizing and will probably try other brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Casco Corduroy Pants Usually the size 20 is way large in the waist and I have to belt it but it fits my rear and thick legs. The Navy pair I bought is snug in the waist. I just had the size 20 patchwork shorts on I had to belt it. Go figure. I do like the length. I usually have to buy the med tall and hem them as I need a 31 inch inseam so it's nice that a regular is 31 inches. I washed and dried it on low once. So far So good no shrinkage. The top button is over my naval. I'm 5'5 and a half tall. The workmanship looks good but the fabric could be thicker for a Northern Winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from looked great Loved these pants and wanted to exchange for size 8 but they were sold out. We need more five pocket CORDUARY pants without elastic, enough with the jeans already. We also need more "man" colors. I would order so much more if you provided more rich colors for us women especially in casual tops. Rust, brown, beige, toast, off white, etc.etc. So tired of the pastels. I look through your catalogs and it's the same old colors year after year. And what's with so many 3/4 sleeves. sorry to be so critical, but you asked!!! And it's cold, even in California...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not close to a good fit As a long time customer of the Bayside Cords, I'm devastated that Bean has stopped making these as I wear them every day in the cool/cold weather. I tried these Casco cords and they didn't come close to fitting. The waist is too low (although they are purported to fit at or just below the waist), and while the legs and hips are OK, there are about four inches too many in the back. I'm glad these work for some women, but unless and until the Bayside Cords come back, I'll have to find somewhere else to get my cords.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, soft on my legs I have many pairs of Casco cords... in most all of the colors. These are so good for winter here on the high desert plane of New Mexico, keeping my legs warm and comfortable. They do shrink a bit when cold washed and cotton heat for drying. I tried using the delicate heat and there is no shrinking... but for me the small amount of shrinking makes for a better fit. The color holds up well after two years of wearing, washing and drying. These pants are not tights... and I like that there is room to move about. In my clothes I am mostly casual and at the same time I like classic simplicity. These Casco cords have classic simplicity, durability and great comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy in my new Casco Cords I love my new Casco cords, and am so pleased with the Gunmetal Gray! I was not at all sure that I would like this gray, since generally I avoid wearing gray. But this gray seems to have some blue hidden inside and also some green tones.... These gray cords will go well with tops in all colors, including navy blue and darker rich greens. I am a bit over five ft. three... around 140... and have shrunk in height... from five five and am a pear shape. In button up shirts and jackets I often take a petite but in pants I stay with regular because of the rise. I write this because it would seem that my shrinking happened in my back in the mid section. Other women who have also gotten shorter might find this information useful.
