I got a small for my 6 and a half year old son and they were falling off him. He is tall for he’s age as well. We returned them. If I purchase again I will have to get the XS. They seem great quality though. Just I have found all there kids mittens run extremely big. I am 37 with small hands and the small fit me.

They also got very smelly on the inside and the instructions say not to wash but to wipe clean. I unfortunately had to invest in different mittens for my kids.
