A must have for kids and adults
These are hands down the best sun hats. We receive numerous compliments when we go out. The color is easy to spot where our kids are when we are at the beach. The additional sun cover flap that comes down is a nice feature to have as well.

Great Hat but ...
I love this hat. It protects from the sun, does not get too hot, and the wind does not blow the brim up and it can be ordered by size (SML). I wore it all spring and summer. Only thing I am disappointed about is the toggle on the chin strap was not plastic but a soft spongy slide. It disintegrated and fell apart this past week while I was in Yellowstone NP. Now why LL Bean used this cheap toggle while they have a head tightening cord with a plastic toggle on the top of the hat, I do not know. I have to downgrade to 4. LLBean change the chin strap toggle to plastic.

Works well
I have trouble finding a women’s hat that is large enough. This fits very well and doesn’t give me a headache.

Fit beautifully
Loved the hat as it was lightweight and has a big brim to keep the sun off my face and neck. The neck piece tucks nicely into the hat when not needed.

poor quality
Hi-- bought this hat a few yrs ago-- didn't wear it often; but about the third time I wore it the fastener in front of the hat-- broke-- is there any way that you sell a bead or fastener item that will fix it-- the hat fastener was of such poor quality it shredded-- it is an attractive looking hat & I really like it -- but in a wind -- it just blows away-- & the fastener in back of the hat isn't tight enough to keep hat in place. Please advise. I do have a photo that isn't uploading. TY

So Far So Good
Great, I actually bought two, small and medium.
Both of us like the hats, mine worked well with the neck flap while I was on the field for an event on a very sunny and hot Saturday, no shade.

Wears like iron
I purchased the first hat from LLBean years ago for my son who was farming at that time. He wore it through three summers. It ultimately showed no wear at all! He was afraid that it might be discontinued at some point, so we ordered a second. Good move!!
