Women's L.L.Bean Pullover, Long-Sleeve Shawl Collar is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 852.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super flattering, get them while in stock! I was lucky to get 2 of these tops last winter. Colors sold out, sizes not available. Have been waiting to get some other colors. This has to be 1 of the best tops since the corduroy big shirt came out. Falls just loosely enough to avoid the trouble spots, stomach and hips, without looking like a tent. Covers the rear just enough you can get away with leggings and boots. The only issue is get petite if you are under 5'6.The sleeves are really long, would prefer bracelet length for under cardigans. Washes like a dream, and soft yet substantial material for years of wear. Get as many as you can afford before they sell out again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Air Dry I bought 2 of these shirts, initially. The fabric is excellent quality and a good weight. The design is very nice and the fit *was* perfect until I washed and dried them. I followed the directions to a "t" -- cold wash, tumble dry low -- but the shirts still shrunk enough to become a slightly awkward fit. They aren't too small, but they're too short, now, so I have to pull them down all the time. That's the only reason for the 4 stars. ... However, they are such quality shirts and fit me so perfectly before they shrunk, that I bought two more. As long as I air dry them, they stay the right size. I wear them all the time and love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and flattering I love the fit and style of this pullover. I purchased a misses XL. At 5'3 and 163 pounds it's a good fit. The shoulders usually hang off me, but these are pretty much where they should be. The sleeves are too long, but I am used to that and don't mind either rolling for shortening them. The fabric is soooo soft and comfy. This piece is good on it's own, but I think I could layer it, if necessary. I washed them as soon as I got them and hung them to dry. No shrinkage that I could tell. It is a very flattering pullover. I got two ... blue and black and may be shopping for a third soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thrilled.... with this top. The description is totally accurate. The fabric is a very nice weight; not thin at all but not heavy. It has nice give to it which made me think there might be spandex in it. It has that feel to it but nope it's 100% cotton. Amazing! I'm very happy to see that LLB is making womens' tops with a more diverse, feminine look & style to them. I'm not a turtleneck fan. I don't like that feeling around my neck. The shawl collar is a perfect alternative. I'm 5' 9" & the bottom hemline is long enough for my height. It's reaches the bottom of my hip line. I'm definitely buying more both for myself & all my sissies for Xmas!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy & Comfortable Soft cotton fabric, but more substantial than your supima cotton tees. Very attractive shawl collar; what was referred to, when shirtwaist dresses were in style, as "coachman" collars or necklines. I suggest only a few minutes of dryer, and then shake out, pull fabric a little, width-wise, and hang to dry. I have three of these: cranberry, deep lagoon and alpine blue. All very rich colors. I like them worn over your supima shells, particularly white. Makes for a finished neckline, whether or not any jewelry is added. My impression is that this cut/pattern works best on relatively small-busted figures.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shrinks in Length This is a great shirt. I love the style. It does not pill and it is very warm. It fit well when I bought it, washed in cold water and dried on very low. Now it is short in length, both in body of shirt and length of sleeves. But I like the style so much I bought 2 more a size up. Perfect fit when I tried it on, but once again it shrank in length. Length is what I need. Aren't we told as heavier women not to have tops end at the widest point of our body? Why do shirts have to be so short? This does not work for everyone. So disappointed. Being able to dry on very low is so important. I have too many things hanging out to dry here and there already.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shrinkage!!! This shirt was lovely when it first arrived. I bought a cranberry one and the turquoise one. I was excited as it was going to be my go to, wear everyday while working at home shirt. The weight of the fabric is great. The color is great. It's my favorite neck style. UNFORTUNATELY, after a washing, it shrunk at least 2 inches in length and in the sleeves (and in general all around but that's not the issue for me). The now shorter length means this is one of my tug-it-down-all-day shirts so I'll likely not wear it frequently - mostly when the shirts I do like, that are long enough, are in the laundry. Darn it. I'm sad I bought one, much less two.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing This item WAS true to size, a nice weight shirt (by no means anything else -- some people seemed to think it was going to be like a sweater) and fit great. Then I washed it. In COLD water, like I do everything. I made the mistake of putting it in the dryer, assuming that a good quality shirt wouldn't shrink like cheaper items. WRONG. It has shrunk up at least 3 inches from the bottom, and is so tight everywhere else I can't wear it. I wore it initially with a tank top under it. Now, I can't even fit just me under it. Disappointing, because I REALLY liked it. I would size up just so you can wash it without worrying. But would it continue to shrink, even then??
