Women's H2OFF Rain Jacket, Mesh-Lined is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 373.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Storm I bought this jacket in Petite large. It is well constructed for comfort and the sizing is perfect. Sleeve length is perfect and the extra snap on the cuff allows for an extra shirt or sweater underneath. The drawstring at the waist also allows for adjustment for comfort with additional clothing. The length has great coverage from the waist without being too long for my 5'4" frame. Perfect protection with the hood when caught in a down-pour! Stayed dry-except for my feet!! It's coming with me on vacation to ROCKFORD / FREEPORT MAINE in two weeks! Will get another one in another color! Have reccomended to friends. Perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rain coat I had purchased the winter version of this coat for winter and loved its fit and features. So I needed a lighter coat for German spring/summer rains. This is perfect for me. I sized up one or maybe two sizes because I like my coats very roomy. This was perfect for me. Lots of room. I likely could have ordered it in my normal size. (I am short and curvy and usually would order large or x large but got this in 2x. Love that it snaps as well as zips so that I can just snap one or two snaps and have air circulation. Hood is roomy and adjustable. Sleeves can be adjusted at wrists with Velcro which was needed because I sized up. Love it!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Redesign the exterior pockets! I bought this jacket with the zip out liner for our cold rainy PNW winters. LL Bean is one of the few retailers of serious outdoor clothing in petite sizes. Apparently most retailers/manufacturers believe that short people don't engage in outdoor activities in inclement weather. This jacket fit well, performed well in the rain but the exterior pockets are useless! This jacket should have sealed zipper exterior pockets. The pockets are shallow and only have a flap cover. Anything in these pockets are insecure or get wet. That leaves only the inside pocket for keys, tissues, money, which is inconvenient when walking or hiking. Put zippered, sealed pockets on the outside!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really great rain jacket Bought this jacket about 2 weeks and just yesterday wore it for a hike in the rain. I was dry! Returned home with the jacket looking very wet, but it wasn't actually wet and I was nice & dry inside. I really like this jacket, after years of wearing the old yellow "rubberized" kind. The pockets are deep and in the right position, the adjustments to the waist, hood & cuffs are good. I went one size up to be able to wear a fleece or heavy sweater underneath, so it is kind of large when wearing just a t-shirt, but that's a personal choice. I think it runs true to size. Nice and light. Everyone loves the grey color, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket! I've been looking for a jacket to take on a fall trip to Belgium & Netherlands. I want it to handle rain if needed, but also to be comfortable enough to be an everyday jacket, as it's the only one I'll bring with me. And this one is perfect. The hood is attached, with no collar to mess with. It has two large exterior pockets and a good-sized zippered interior pocket. The front has both a zipper and snaps, instead of velcro which always seems to attach to something inconvenient. Best of all, the body and sleeves are both roomy enough to put a light-weight fleece underneath. I ordered the coral color and love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ideal Dog-Walking Jacket Water "resistant" doesn't cut it in the Willamette Valley. I purchased the H2Off rain coat last year and it proved it was up to its name. Since my current dog-walking jacket was due for a replacement I decided to go for the H2Off jacket. The mesh-lined version is perfect for our moderate temperatures, and I ordered a roomy size so I can layer as appropriate. I like the two-way zipper and the ability to snug the waist a tad. My only complaints: even in a petite size the sleeves are too long, and the generous hood blocks my vision unless I wear a baseball cap. But the rain beads up on the jacket and it dries quickly. <3

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased I, scrupulously shopped for a replacement to a Columbia jacket I loved and had for over 25 years. When I washed it all the white waterproofing material flacked off to my horror. This new jacket had nearly all the same positive features without the problem. I like the way it looks on; I thought I wouldn't like the hood design because it doesn't zip into the collar, but it actually lays nicely on the back when I'm not wearing it. The other style doesn't. I forced myself to get the beige for night safety; I love and wanted the purple and other colors but as a pedestrian, drivers can't see you in the dark winter colors. I am very please!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice I bought nearly this identical jacket from Bean over twenty years ago and it’s been THE ONE for every kind of weather, for every kind of activity, for travel anywhere. I still wear it, but the zipper finally started going wonky and I knew it was time for a new one. I love the blue, the pretty back pleat, the pockets, the zip and snap closure, and even the snap cuffs, although the sleeves are (as has been mentioned) too long for a petite. My old coat has zippered pockets and I appreciated that at times, but don’t think I’ll miss it. I need to iron it and it’s a little “noisy”, but that won’t last. I would recommend it.
