Women's Classic Lambswool Duffel Coat is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 573.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Zipper Problem Although I loved the look and lambswool material of this coat, I returned it as the zipper was a huge problem! No matter how I tried, I could not easily get this zipper to work properly. I am not "zipper challenged" and, in fact, my present winter coat, which I was trying to replace, has a similar zipper closure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take reviews advice & you will love it! I followed the reviews advice and ordered 2 sizes up and the fit was perfect! Love the petite option so that my sleeves and lengths are spot on. Almost returned because of severely struggling with the zipper, but after adding a dab of Aquaphor to the leading edge I was able to work it out … was very frustrating before that. The color is a burnt rust - a little unusual but quite nice IRL. Let’s you feel a little dressy for travel etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good- zipper is a bit tricky! I initially based the size I chose on the reviews saying the coat runs small- for me it does not. I think it depends not only on your size, but also your shape. I'm 5'4, 133lbs, and went with a 4P ultimately. The sleeves on the 4 were slightly long and the 6 looked way too big on. I chose the Navy color, which is beautiful and really classy looking. The zipper gives me trouble from time to time, but I can deal with it. I like the quality and it feels very warm. Admittedly, it does feel a tad snug when I sit down, but standing and walking (what I'm doing mostly) are fine. I like it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I had one of these from the old style for about 15 years and for some tupid reason I donated it. this version is so poor compared to the older version it is so disappointing - less sturdy even flimsy fabric, poor closures, non-removable hood, length shorter. So very disappointling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A duffel coat with what I looked for I love duffel coats, but it seems these days it is no longer easy to find one that has a lining, a petite size option, and is also of high quality. This coat from L.L. Bean has all these! It is very beautiful and well made. The fabric was imported from Italy. It was hard to pick a color. I wanted the navy one, which looks very classy, but it seems a bit too dark. The camel one doesn't look like the type of light beige I want. So, I picked the gray one for its neutral shade. This color looks better in person than in the picture. Like some reviews said, the zipper is hard to pull up. I had to make sure the bottom zipper sits tightly at the bottom before being able to pull the upper zipper up. Pros: lining, petite option, imported fabric, cutting, quality Cons: zipper issue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Duffel coat This coat is extremely well made and should last for a very long time. I stayed warm, outside, when the temperature was 20 degrees with wind. The fit is true to size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Near perfect coat Beautiful coat! Warm but not bulky. Timeless style. Camel color is classy. 5’4” 136lbs. Size 12 fits perfectly with sweater and turtleneck underneath. Pockets are deep enough. No issues with zipper. Wrinkles easily removed with steam. Only wish the hood didn’t swallow my head. So big it can’t be worn without a hat which is ludicrous since I want a hood to replace a hat. Overall I’m very pleased with this coat.
