Rated 5 out of 5 by Caryl from Bath Rug not a Bath Mat I was looking for a bath mat, not a bath rug, to match the towels I bought in Freeport. This was nice a fluffy and good quality but I returned it because it was not what I was looking for. This was a bath rug with non-skid backing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PrairieBlue from Plush and LONG lasting I saw the slate and medium blue colors and thought they'd be perfect for a main bathroom upgrade. It was only after I ordered that I realized...I have these rugs already in my purchase history from nine years ago! (They have gone through some color design changes, of course.) The nine-year-old rugs are still going strong, still attractive and plush and the colors don't bleed. Yes, they produce a lot of lint at first - the tag even mentions this. Suggestion: don't wash them, but instead, toss them in the dryer on your "fluff" cycle for 20 minutes at low or no heat, once a week or so, for a few weeks after you get them. You will get a lot of lint off these fluff sessions before you actually have to wash them.

Had to order additional product for the same family, who frequents LLBean. It was very close to the last delivery before Christmas. It would not allow me to use my credit card. Don’t know why, I have excellent credit. Spoke to a great rep who handled my frustration & placed my order via phone. She was very pleasant, assured me the gift would get there before Christmas & it did! Son was happy with their .

Rated 3 out of 5 by not applicable from Backing slips on floor These rugs are beautiful and soft, but if you want it to stay put on the floor, it doesn't. The first time I used it, it stayed put pretty well, but with each washing it moves under foot more and more to the point of becoming dangerous.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LilyPad from Rug is falling apart slowly I wash the rug, and it was almost like it was falling apart. Had so many balls of fiber. I thought the rug I washed it where it was ruined, but I did manage to get most of the fiber out of it. I put the rugs on air dry in the dryer, it had more fiber falling out. I am very disappointed with the quality of this rug. I thought L.L. Bean carried quality items, plus you pay a big price for their items.

I had high expectations, so I bought a large and a small, and have washed them twice, according to directions. Unexpectedly, very time-consuming. First at home. Had to dry on low heat for a loooong time. Had to set a timer every 10 min. to clean lint filter -TONS of fluffy lint. Second time, I went to the laundromat and had to spend a couple hours so I wouldn't wear out my home machines. I hope the laundromat manager cleans the lint filters frequently!! Since these are bath rugs, they need to be washed regularly. That's a lot of time spent! .... Also, since a lot of fluff is lost in drying, they mat down pretty quickly.
