Men's Rugged Roller Belt is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 255.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's Rugged Roller Belt This belt is without peer in anything L.L. Bean has ever carried in their belt line. Someone at LLB really picked a winner in selecting this vendor. The belt is superb looking, very substantial in material quality, and durable. It can be worn with dress pants, jeans or chinos and it pairs well with brown, burgundy, or cordovan dress shoes or loafers. I hope someone in the LLB marketing department reads these comments, because they really ought to be offering it in black as well. I'd buy it and so would a lot of others who are fans of the brown version of this belt. You will not be disappointed with this product. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent belt; order 1 size down I've had this belt for a couple years now. It start out awesome (solid, thick, well made), and it keeps getting better. Its a very high quality belt and the brass buckle (that I don't polish or clean) is developing a very nice patina. Not a dress belt, but you can wear it with chinos and a dress shirt for a dressyish casual. ORDER 1 SIZE DOWN! I wear a 34 pants so I ordered a 34. I have it on the 2nd to last notch, but I could easily (ok, I'd have to push back from the buffet) put it on the last. If you're a 34, order a 32 and you should be on the center notch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality, terrible sizing! I have tried a couple of these belts.....they are like what all of the other reviewers have said, probably the best belt that Bean offers. Only problem is that a 38 belt is really a 39, 40 or 41 and the 36 that I tried is really a 37 1/2. When I was visiting out east, I took one into a Bean store to confirm the sizing with them! They held it up next to one of their other belts and it was inches longer for the same size. If you have a store that carries these belts near you and the time to find one that fits, then you will be getting a real bargain for the price. If not, it is just a roll of the dice if you have one shipped to you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Belt for Jeans This is the best belt I have found to wear with jeans, in both construction and appearance. Unfortunately, it took two tries to get the correct size. I first ordered a size 36 inch belt, consistent with all my other leather belts. It was at least 2 inches too long; if the belt stretched at all I could not use it. I reordered a size 34 inch belt, which fits perfectly using the center hole of the belt. For reference, I typically wear LL Bean Double L Jeans, Natural Fit with a 35 inch waist. This product deserves 5 stars, but LL Bean needs to provide better guidance about fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stuck and difficult to unhook Sturdy dark brown belt & buckle but very DIFFICULT to unhook from the belt. Takes lot effort to unhook from the belt. Second Issue: Listed as 100% full grain leather but stamped as "Genuine Full Grain Leather" on reverse side of the belt. Don't know if it's to confuse yet lure customer in buying the product. Never heard of a leather grade called "Genuine Full Grain Leather". But heard about Full grain leather, Top grain leather, Split grain leather, Genuine leather and Bonded leather. LLBean, please explain the discrepancy in labeling and description of the item. What is the difference between a Full Grain Leather grade belt and a Genuine Full Grain Leather grade belt?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty Belt This really is a rugged, heavy duty belt. The leather is a quarter inch thick. This makes the belt a little stiff, but you are never going to wear it out in two lifetimes. It is one and a half inches wide, so make sure your belt loops will handle that on whatever pants you intend to use it on. Not suited for dress pants. I bought it to wear with jeans and it is the perfect jeans belt. The leather surface seems very scratch-resistant, also, which is another plus. If you are buying it for a work belt or hunting belt, this will definitely hold anything you want to hang from your belt so long as it fits over the belt dimensions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roller Belt An excellent belt. Why they call it a hunting belt I do not know. It sure could be, as it's sturdy enough, but it is an equally classy casual pants belt. I did not find it too stiff as some did. For a heavy belt it flexes fine. You DO have to order in your current waist size as they say. I thought I needed a bit bigger and wound up sending it back for an exchange as it was too large. Your actual pants waist size will put it right in the middle with room to go either way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Belt, Exceptional price This is one of the best belts I have owned in quite some time. Quality leather, well proportioned and nicely stitched. For me it's not too heavy and gives great support and fits perfectly. I would suggest that you use a good leather conditioner on this belt before you wear it. I applied a conditioner three times the first week. This will lock in the color and make the leather supple. The buckle is also good looking and with the attached roller and conditioner will stop deep marks on the leather. Condition the belt once a month and you will have it for years. Treat it like your wallet.
