Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smaller and narrower Echoing a lot of reviews I have seen about these shoes. Super comfortable and nice looking. I had an old pair I wore probably 10 years as a casual, but nice shoe with jeans. This version does run smaller and narrower than most shoes. I usually wear a 10.5 gym shoe and have slightly wide feet, meaning I don't typically pick "W" or EEs at a store but I can't wear Nike because of their width. I ended up finding the right fit for these at an 11 EE due to the sizing. I couldn't even get my feet in the ones I ordered at my usual size. Wanted to give my experience as a reference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very pleasant surprise Most of the shoes I buy from Beans are intended for regular and frequent walking; I average 7-9 miles a day, and I have old feet that like a lot of support. I bought these to slip on casually and wear around the house. I am gradually finding, however, that they are just fine for regular town walking at a distance - plenty of support, no slipping around, easy on and off. The color is a bit runny - the dyed suede on the lower parts, in particular, has bled when I've walked on wet days - but that's my fault, and I have no complaints. I will buy more when these wear out - it's nice to have something to count on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis in my extremities, which is controlled well with medication. I work for a class 1 railroad and spend a good deal of time on my feet, on rough terrain, wearing puncture resistant soled, safety boots that are very uncomfortable (choices of company approved boots is very limited). My feet often hurt very bad by the end of the day. I received my Comfort Mocs, took them from the box, and just couldn't believe how well they fit and how comfortable they are. I'm so happy!! I'm pretty confident that my afterwork time will now include other activities other than sitting on the couch!! Thank you LL Bean.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I really tried to like these shoes... My wife has been buying these shoes for my father in law for the past few years because he loves them. He actually wears the same size shoe as me (8) so I decided to try these again (I had tried them a few years ago and they didn't feel right). I ordered the size 8, and even with mid weight socks, the shoes were large and my foot slid around in them. So, I exchanged them for a 7 1/2 and that pair was too small in the toe box, however, my heel still slipped around. Very oddly sized shoes. They appear to be excellent quality and would probably be comfortable if they fit right. I will not try these again and I would not recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great comfort, but sizing way off The suede comfort mocs are a great shoe! I have worn a couple different pairs of these for years, and put them through every testing condition possible. These have endured hundreds of hiking miles, some carrying a medium weight pack, and a lot off-trail exploring. Plus, they still looked good enough to go out for dinner! This recent pair purchased is the same looks and durability, but I had to get one full size larger. The old mocs were a size 8, and the new ones are size 9. The medium width stayed the same fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Original Design Great; Not So These I have had a pair of the original Comfort Moc design for years, and I loved them. When the sole began separating, I ordered a pair of the new version. I'm a size 10, and with the pair I received, the left shoe was snug with my toe touching the front, and the right shoe was too big, slipping off my heel as I walked. I sent those back and got another pair. The left shoe was a better fit, but both shoes slipped on my heel, so I sent them back. The new shoe design will not work for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME!!! My husband is a nursing home resident and these shoes are perfect for him. Each pair pair lasts at least a year. They are still in pretty good shape, so I donate them. It is easier to order a new pair than to try to convince my husband they are still good. They are easy to clean with a lightly soapy piece of an old towel; then stiff shoe brush when dry. These shoes give him enough traction to move his wheelchair along (he uses his feet, not hands on the wheels). No laces or velcro to deal with, and they don't stretch out. Very happy with these shoes. I will continue to buy these for my husband. Hands down a GREAT shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable shoe with some quirks After returning similar shoes to another outdoor retailer for being to heavy and soles too stiff, these shoes are lightweight and very comfortable. I bought them to wear around the house because I need a good arch support, these have that. Unfortunately the the loop on the heel is too small to easily get my finger inside (perhaps because they're manufactured in Viet Nam?) Not to mention that the loop is mounted so low on the heel instead of near the collar that it is useless for pulling the shoe on. I'm used to using the loop to pull the shoe over the heel and this loop doesn't serve it's purpose. I must slip my finger into the back of the heel to get it on.
