Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed with fit & length I purchased these pants from a customer service when I called and she told me the fit was a normal fit and has a comfort waist band. I did not expect to look like a fashion model but when I put on these jeans today I felt like I was in a clown's outfit - baggy pants w/o any shape. Comfort waist, natural fit are not the words I would use to describe this the length was also to long and I always wear a 29" they are hanging on me and falls off my waist. The color is great but that is it. I decided to keep it as when I called back your customer service said I have to pay to ship it back for a refund and couldn't help me select a better product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from the Fading is an issue I have purchased many Jeans from Bean and have always been happy with the product. I like the waist band on these jeans but I believe the fading process weakend the jeans too much. within one wash I found that there were two holes forming on one leg and I also noticed that there were some white spots around the pockets that actually appear to be bleach marks - I am really hoping that this was a defective pair since I did like the look of the fade... I will be returning these and have ordered a different color of the same style. But with any purchase of any product, I know that I will be happy in the end since LL Bean is a great company.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Baggy Fit Recently purchased my standard size and while well made and comfortable, up to a point, these pants are certainly baggy. I don't remember previous versions of these natural fit jeans fitting like a potato sack in the back. They are OK for yard work but a little embarrassing to be worn places where others can see you from the back and side. A little disappointed in this sizing change. Would recommend them but potential buyers keep a heads up on the style. A better photo in the catalog or online would be helpful.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good fit, bad dye job I ordered natural fit jeans in a dark blue color. The fit is okay but the dye job is awful. The fronts of the thighs, especially the knees, are faded. That's not so bad, but there are stripes of much lighter, faded blue transversely across the groins and abdominal parts of the jeans. When I commented on this I was told that "it's a feature". Okay, if you like to buy jeans which look like you bought them a size too small and have been sitting down in them for a few weeks, then these are the jeans for you. But they're not for me. I will not be buying LLBean jeans again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value I'm at the stage in life where jeans have become problematic. A previous reviewer described these as the jeans for those over 50--I certainly fit the bill. The jeans are very comfortable, but the fit in the seat and thighs is overly generous. These jeans do a better job of staying up compared to a competitor's jeans with a similar waist construction. Even though the jeans are offered with a 29" inseam, I would like to have been able to order a 28 1/2" or a 28" inseam. I have washed these jeans twice, and they do not appear to have shrunk or faded out. Also, I received the jeans within three days of ordering--I'm very impressed. I would consider ordering these jeans in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Husband loves these jeans. My husband says these are the best jeans ever. He has worn only LL Bean jeans for 30+ years but feels these are the most comfortable. As all Double L Jeans, they launder wonderfully and always look great. I think the hidden comfort feature with these jeans is what is makes this the perfect jean for him. Please continue to keep all sizes of this great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable Fitting Jeans I am sold on these jeans. I especially like LL Bean because they have a waist size of 35" that is neglected in every other brand of jeans out there. And to boot: with these elastic waist lines, the jeans will allow me to tuck in the heavy layers of shirts I wear in the winter, yet it will retract to fit perfectly when I wear T-shirts not tucked in during the hot summer months. I own work jeans and I bought others for dress jeans--altogether I have 5 pair. And I intend to buy more whenever these wear out, which takes a long long time. Very pleased with the design and quality Bean! You need to offer this in the flannel lined jeans as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Jeans Fell in love with these jeans as soon as I wore them. The quality of the denim is comparable to the name brand jeans & has the same features for the most part. The comfort fit feature gave me just the little extra I needed for a better fit. Only disappointment I experienced was that these jeans only had 7 belt loops. Two pair of Carhart jeans I own have 9 with 2 loops in the front closest to each belt end. This seemingly insignificant feature holds the belt better & neatly holds the leftover belt strap after you put it on. Putting that aside, after my initial purchase & being satisfied, I purchased others .
