Men's Wrinkle-Free Double L® Chinos, Natural Fit Hidden Comfort Plain Front is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 1615.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Up to Par Over the years, we have purchased many pairs of men's pants from LL Bean. The quality has always been outstanding and the pants have given many good years of wear. We were traveling and needed pants in a hurry, so we stopped at an LL Bean store. Even though the belt button appeared to be poorly sewn on, we bought these pants. After returning home and washing, the material was much lighter than expected, and with the second washing, the button fell off. Perhaps the maker of these particular pants should be looked at carefully before more purchases are made from them by LL Bean, the pants are just not LL Bean quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from finally good fit I mail ordered these pants because Bean 's fitting rooms were closed I like this pant after the 3rd try. I learned many years ago (from LLBean) that you go down one waist size w. comfort waist. I am a 35" so I ordered a 34" they were a little tight but the pant pockets were bulging out like Dumbo's ears. Same thing with a 35" but a 36" fit reasonable well. A little loose in the legs and around the butt, but it will work. The pockets still show a little ears (bulging out), but less so and should be okay to wear every day. If you mail order I recommend you order your size and/or go up one inch in waist size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As Advertised I've been wearing these (both khaki and navy) for about 8 years. As I have moved from an academic post to working in global health, they have literally traveled with me. They are my standard clothing whether I'm wearing them with a sports coat or just a casual shirt. They wear very well and stand up to washing and drying many, many times--and remain looking good. I'm usually the one in the family that pulls out the iron first, but these really look fine straight from the dryer. If you are looking for a durable and good-looking pair of chinos, these are the best I have found.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love 'em I have been buying these chinos, khaki-color, for years. I wear them everywhere; shopping, gardening, sometimes, with a jacket, to church. Lately, I have made good use of the comfort waist feature which allows some flexibility in matching standard sizes to my aging body. The wrinkle-free feature is great, but there is a trade-off; the material stains easily and many of the stains are impossible to remove. Usually the service life of the pants is determined by the staining rather than wear. If you are into colors darker than khaki, this might not be a problem

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality and Length This is the fourth or fifth pair of LL Bean slacks I've bought and, except for the length, I'm very satisfied with them. My leg length is 28 inches. The shortest you offer is 29 inches. This ,means I have to shorten a new pair of tailor made pants before I can wear them. They wear like iron so I'm extra pleased with their durability. The comfort fit is just what I need to fit my expanding and contracting waist. If I ever conquer My expanding waist line I will have to buy a new group of slacks. Unfortunately I cannot expand my leg length so I will again have to shorten the length of my new trousers. It would be nice if you offered a 28 inch length.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great pants poor quality of material These are great pants. I have been buying them for at least the last 10+ years. I wear them all the time, because they look good and they fit very well. My issue is with the fabric that has been used on the last four sets of pants I have purchased. The pants have frayed in the waist and pant cuff areas. I have never seen this before with any pair of pants I have owned. I purchased more pants to replace these, so I am hoping this will not happen again. Time will tell what happens. LL Bean was quick to credit the cost of the replacement pants.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arrived with holes in the fabric I am so disappointed in this purchase! While the pants fit well and I liked the weight of the fabric, I realized after I wore the khaki pants once that there was a slit in the fabric on the back near the pocket. It looked like it may have been sliced with a razor knife. When I checked the other pair there was also a slit on one of the creases on the front. This is the first time I've had an issue like this with your company in the 30 plus years I've been a customer, but both pairs having the same type of damage feels like a quality control issue to me. I'm returning them

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed We have been Bean customers for decades and have always looked forward to their products. These pants were back ordered and I waited patiently for them, expecting to be satisfied as usual. However, despite the good color and my usual style, there are problems--inconsistent sizing and construction. This size 38 seems smaller than in my other recent purchases and the buttonhole is too tight for the button! I did what I could to pry it open and finally pushed the button through. Now I can't get the button out!!! Has the poor construction affected the size? I am disappointed and have returned the pants.
