Awesome Product!
I bought this for my 10yr old son’s bed. It’s been great. The fabric is high quality and doesn’t slip around inside the duvet and it doesn’t shed down. Would highly recommend!

Warm, as promised
Very warm...when the house gets down to about 57 degrees at night, I am not cold. I can't yet speak to the longevity of it, as I have only had it a few months.

No longer dread going to bed!
We're in MA, and keep the thermostat at 65 degrees (bedroom is above a garage, so the temperature is even lower). This comforter is heavenly - it's fluffy and perfectly cozy and a satisfying weight for me. I run cold and no longer dread going to bed. There is a slight crinkly sound when manipulating the comforter, but given the overall quality (construction and materials), I don't mind it.
I researched a lot of brands, and referenced the 2023 NYT Wirecutter review. One thing that I noticed is that out of all the recommendations in the Wirecutter review, only LL Bean and another high end brand actually clearly list the loft, fill weight and overall weight. This makes me appreciate LL Bean even more, and further re-enforces LL Bean's no nonsense quality and dependability, in my mind. The 100% down-proof cotton cover claim seems to be holding true - I saw one lone feather upon unpacking the comforter (unclear if it was from inside the comforter or a hitchhiker), and have not seen any feathers since. It feels durable, and I like that it was assembled in the USA. There were no odd smells upon unpacking, and there was a tag stating that the comforter exceeds industry hypoallergenic standards. Can't wait to get many years of use out of this!

Perfect for cold Winter nites
I love my new comforter, so warm, but much lighter than my old polyfill one. I live in the mountains of Northern NM so Winter's can be cold and I keep the bedroom at 55 degrees. This comforter does the trick and is very well made, so should last for years. Also my two cats love it and are snuggling in most nites with me.

It clumped up when I washed it. I only had it on the bed for one week. Customer service was little help.

Excellent Quality - Happy Purchase
I got the warmer version (for MN) and it is wonderful. Warm without being too warm and yes I would recommend it to a friend/anyone who values quality.

Wonderfully warm. Very crisp fabric.
Wonderfully soft and warm. The comforter seems to have a wonderful balance of fill, loft and perceived weight. I would rate it at 5 stars if not for the crispness of the fabric, which make it a little noisy. We’ve only been using it for 1 week, so perhaps this will change over time. The very old comforter it is replacing was very soft and quiet.The crispness of the fabric would not stop me from recommending it or buying another.
