Disappointed with the fabric
The fabric is definitely NOT the same. I loved the buttery softness of the pair I ordered from LL Bean several years ago but they finally wore out so I ordered another pair. I have to say I'm so disappointed in this new fabric. It's scratchy feeling and reminds me of the shiny double knit fabric from decades ago that every elderly woman wore. I expected better quality from LL Bean.

Disappointed with the fabric
I bought a pair of the perfect fit bootcut pants several years ago and loved the buttery soft fabric. Unfortunately, they finally wore out. I recently bought another pair that I thought would be just like the pair I had loved so much and that, by the way, wore like iron. This new pair is NOT the same fabric. It's more like the double knit pants my grandmother wore years ago. I'm going to keep them because I do like the fact that they fit well but I am definitely not in love with this new fabric. I've always been really happy with everything I've ever bought from LL Bean but this fabric feels and looks more like cheap dress pant fabric.

Favorite pants, but...
Super comfy pants. I only wish this style had pockets. And for me, the fit would be better if there were a size between S and M. 6-8 is a bit too tight, and 10-12 a bit too loose. I need 8-10!
