Careful... it melts!!
It's a great product. Carries a lot of wood, is rugged, has nice sides that keep dirt and debris off the floor... but here's the thing: Keep it too close to your woodstove and it melts. In fact, the handle of ours melted onto the outside of the cast-iron woodstove, causing a helluva stinky mess. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Should we have kept it further away from the stove? Sure. But should LL Bean — provider of rugged Maine-esque goods — make fireplace products that are less flammable and melty? Absolutely.
Fun times, though, I repaired it with some paracord and strapping we had lying around. Pix attached.

Good value for the price
I shopped around several sites looking for a good quality carrier that was not too expensive and had no leather. We use our wood stove frequently in the winter and I expect this carrier to last many years.

Great Canvas Carrier For Wood-stove Logs
My husband needed something to carry firewood into the house for our wood stove and this is just what he needed. The canvas bag is very sturdy, is the right length for logs/split logs and the carrying handles are very sturdy. I believe it will serve us well for years to come!

Perfect size for an evening
The carrier holds a perfect amount. If it held more, it would far too heavy to carry!
