Kids' Puddle Stompers Rain Boots, Print is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 74.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing else compares As shipping and customs could make one avoid ordering internationally, there are some things at LLBean we can't live without and these are one. I've tried other boots locally and no matter the price, they never compare to these boots. Many rubber boots are totally flimsy and have no support or solid sole whatsoever. My picky son and daughter refuse to wear any other boots. We now have these in every size for 1.5 - 5 years old and have just ordered the next size up. We highly recommend the yellow (very visible & unisex!). Lastly, my son NEVER STOPS RUNNING and these have yet to slow him down. Other boots often left him flat out in the mud!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These boots are great! We live in San Diego, and we simply don't get much rain. We do live in rattlesnake country and when the grass gets long in the spring, my outdoor girls slip these boots on for protection. I know this is not what they intend them to be used for, but it gives me peace of mind knowing my kids are not out there barefoot. Easy to slip on and off, durable. After a year or so the lining starts to slip down.... but most kids outgrow a shoe before that happens. Order bigger just so they last longer. And if you want to have more than one kid use them over time, just order one color... like yellow. Then everyone just has yellow rain boots. Trust me, this will save you lots of money (and headache) in the future years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Workhorse Boots I bought our first pair of these boots (or the previous generation of them) about twelve and a half years ago, when our daughter was just a toddler, and we moved out here, to Oregon. They held up so well, and she loved them so much, that we have purchased a new pair just about every year since then. My son now wears each pair, as he grows into them. After he outgrows them, they are still in good shape. These are the boots that never quit! My kids have worn them for puddle stomping, lawn mowing, creek exploring, imaginary play, and more. They are hard on their clothes, but they haven't been able to ruin a pair of these boots yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Buy 2 yrs Ago My son received a yellow pair as a gift two years ago and these have been his favorite pair of footwear since he received them. The toe box has upheld with active use with no cracking in either the upper or lower. The interior lining is still fully intact without wearing through, tearing, or shifting. One pull-on handle broke last fall, but the others appear to be substantially stronger than the one that broke. I cannot comment fairly on sizing as my son has *hard to fit* foot. (XXW foot with a high arch) The pair we have in size 13 was purchased for a size 12 foot. The extra room in the length was long but not a freakishly clown shoe length when comparing width/arch. The upper suited my child's high arch without abrasion/irritation. After 2 1/2 years of wear, they remain water tight and serviceable with the sole tread intact.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money! We purchased two pairs of these boots for our boys a few years ago, and they have held up extremely well - now they have been passed on to other kids. My boys practically live in their boots in spring and fall. When one of my sons outgrew his pair last year, I tried buying a cheaper pair locally, and they had cracks in the rubber before a year had passed. Needless to say, I just bought more LL Bean boots for this spring.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great boots, but high heel and run small I bought my kids' boots one size too large so they'd still fit them come spring. I have to send one pair of boots back because they juuuuust fit right now and there will be no room to grow, and the other pair back because they are so narrow they hurt his feet. Also, the heel is 1" high, which is a lot for a two year old. So, a conditional OK for these, but nothing enthusiastic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cracking after just a few months I've been buying these boots for my 7-your-old son every year for several years now and have been pretty happy with their quality. Two years ago he wore his bright yellow boots almost every day from April to October, including on 95 degree days (I wouldn't want to wear rubber boots on a hot summer day, but I wasn't going to fight this!), and the boots held up very well, only the lining worn out at the heel. In March of this year I got him another pair, which he now wears more appropriately, mostly on rainy days or sometimes when he's too lazy to sit down and deal with his sneakers - just jumps into them and out the door he goes. And we didn't have that many rainy days this year. So I was very surprised to find several cracks on the shaft of both boots. Also, the lining was completely gone around the heel area. This is not the quality I'm used to expect from L.L.Bean stuff in general, and rubber boots in particular. I'll exchange them for another pair, give these boots another chance. If they don't last through the season, I'll have to look elsewhere next year. Keeping my fingers crossed, because we do like the boots otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT BOOTS ! I actually bought these boots a full size up because they happened to be on clearance and it was the closest to my daughter's size ( 10 1/2 ). She wore them all winter as I really did not want to get her the traditional snow boots as she would only be in our own small yard ( despite NorEaster's where we live ) They HELD UP GREAT - no cracks on the sides like other boots we've weathered, and she is STILL able to wear them all through the spring shower season we are in now ! Best Impulse buy ever made ! She could put them on by herself with the handles at the tops so one less thing for Mom to do !!! ( 2 if you count taking them off again.)
