Looks good
I really like the look of this and weight with and/or without the liner. Good flexible spring/fall jacket. However, I was hoping it would be more durable/rugged. The back ripped with one playful dog bite. For a 'hunting' or 'work/barn' jacket, I think it should be tough enough to not rip as easily as it did. I thought 'canvas' was supposed to be tougher than denim, but a jean jacket would not have ripped like that (my wife won't let me get jean jackets). But maybe this isn't canvas, even though I found it searching for a canvas jacket. Also, the chest pocket is small and will scratch anything (like a cell phone) because of the metal zipper, if it even fits.

Good but loose buttons
Very warm and comfortable. Disappointed the buttons weren’t sewn on tightly. One fell off pretty quickly.

Great Field Coat
Fantastic coat, had one years ago that wore out. This one's even better as it's made for tall people. Outstanding!

Barn Jacket
My husband thinks this is the best coat ever. This is his second one. Wears great and you can wear it in different seasons by having the liner to put in or take out.

Good but not as great as 30 years ago
I still have my field coat from about 30 years ago. It was better made with more reinforced stitching and a heavier wool liner liner. Still, for the price seems like reasonable quality. I am retired now, so I hope it is the last one I will need to buy!

Great everyday jacket with easy pockets .
Like coat wasy on button if cold & the wool lining keeps one warmon days 29s or 30s.

The Barn Coat Field Coat
Excellent. I have a half dozen of these coats in various stages of decomposition, yet still loved and worn for various purposes.
