Unflattering!
I loved the fabric and style and thought it would be a good between season topper. However, it looked like I was wearing one of my husband’s heavy flannel shirts. Unflattering but well made. Returned.

Calling All Petites!
I saw this "shacket" sometime ago but hesitated buying it because the reviewers who gave their height were all either average in height or VERY tall. (I'm only 5'2".) Well, I finally decided to try it and so glad I did. It fits me just fine, with the overall length falling just a few inches above my knees and the sleeve-length a little below my wrists but perfect for driving. (The cuffs are nicely lined in black so can also be turned up if so desired.) The design, fabric, and workmanship are excellent, and even the inside is so nicely finished that one might ALMOST wear it inside out.

Lovely to wear for those chilly spring / fall days while also exhibiting exceptional tailoring you expect from L.L.Bean
Definitely does not appear “off the rack”, the plaid lines up properly. Well worth the $$$.
Generous fit (boxy, not fitted), yet true to size. I first ordered a size up thinking I’d want the extra length but I wound up swimming in it. I ordered my natural size & returned the larger item in-store which made it super easy!
I love the charcoal grey color which is a timeless neutral & know this will be a wardrobe staple for years to come.
All trim is lined & & the pockets are generous in size w/out adding bulk.
Collar did feel a bit itchy on my neck (it’s a brushed wool blend) so will be wearing this w/ higher collar layers.
