Rated 4 out of 5 by Emily from Perfect, with a little help The treads are a really nice material and they help our dog, who suddenly became afraid of our wooden stairs, get downstairs. The design is cool. The rubber backing is the one problem. Maybe they are only meant for outside? They do slide all over the place and look messy if not taped down, however, industrial double stick tape won’t stick to the rubber. I bought industrial strength Velcro and that has worked beautifully and our Gracie can get downstairs so in the end, that’s all that matters.

They are sturdy and don’t slide on the wooden steps. The brown treads blend well with other colors in the room.
