no hand pockets
Slight stretch fabric makes it easy to get on and comfortable to wear. As other reviewers have noted, though, there are no side pockets for hands. That's a major fail in any jacket, but especially in an anorak.

Great foldable jacket
Great light weather and rain jacket. Itnfolds up into it's pocket, but it doesn't look wrinkled when I take it out.

Front pocket really bothered me. Wanted it to be a kangaroo pocket with side zips for hands, not a top entry. Fit was good and material feels nice.

Like the length of “tall”
I purchased a regular large and tall medium and went with the tall medium. I have a longer torso so like the length of the tall.

Great but two things
I’m 190 and 6 ft tall. Decent build. A medium fits me perfect. Also no pockets just the kangaroo pouch which is fine but I’d like the option to shield warm my hands. Also the bottom randomly bells out at the very bottom. I pulled the ties just enough to make it the same diameter as the rest of the trunk so I guess it’s fine. The fabric is great and the fit is form fitting but roomy, oh I ordered a large to test sizes and the only difference was more room in the chest and arms. The waist was the exact same measurement so if your a medium husky go large.

The Iconic Anorak
I used to own an anorak many years ago. I liked its versatility and convenience for outdoor activities. I figured it was time to own one again. Since I made this purchase I feel that I could not have found a better one than this anorak from LL Bean. It is well made and looks good. That Bean offer clothes in tall sizes is a plus for my long arms. I thought I might be getting too old to pull a jacket over my head but the long zipper makes it not seem like a struggle. I agree with some reviewers that said it would be nice to have hand pockets but maybe that would take away the function of the storage pouch. Overall I’d say that this anorak has the feel of an LL Bean classic.

Venture Anorak
Great lightweight rain option. Fits well and seems to be well made.
