Rated 1 out of 5 by John from Something is wrong with the material I loved the idea of these shoes. Easy on and out the door in the rain when walking the dogs…just perfect. But they nearly immediately began cracking. This has to be a material problem as I have never had something from LL Bean fall apart like this. I would love another pair…that will NOT crack in the first month.

Rated 1 out of 5 by D Heb from Comfortable Shoe, Big Disappointment Literally had the shoe around for over a year but did not wear it a bunch because it's a shoe for wet weather and I live in San Antonio. After wearing them a couple of days they were so comfy I bought another pair :( After 3-4 good days of wearing, I noticed some leakage on the tops. Both shoes cracked and leaked on the top crease at the base of your big toe that develops from normal walking. LL Bean used to stand by their stuff but only 1 year now WITH lots of conditions. After 40 years and 10's of thousands of dollars...I'm done. NOT the same company we grew up with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Wondering from Shoes top surface cracked within 2 weeks A week after starting to wear the Wellie shoes the top rubber surface of shoe cracked and split open on left shoe. A crack in the outer surface of the right shoe formed a few days later. I’d had them for about three weeks. Otherwise they’re great. Quite comfortable.

With this shoe I have to always reach down and unravel the heel part of the shoe to finish putting them on. My bad, I should have realized why that rear tab was put there. I want a shoe that slips on w/o fixing them to feel comfortable.
