Comfy Fleece layer
Very comfy and warm, long sleeve top. I wore this for many days during our cold snap this winter. I love the many colors so I can put different turtlenecks underneath it. It has washed well and I plan to use this for many years to come.

Fleece is bulky
Since this is a "base layer," I expected it to be thinner material. The fleece is pretty plump, I could not wear it under the sweater I had in mind. As a base, it is also slim fitting. I found the sleeves to be too roomy. On the plus side, this is really soft and warm and feels good against your skin. Also pretty.

Very Happy With This Purchase
This is one of my favorite recent purchases from Bean. Although it’s supposed to be a base layer, I’ve chosen to wear it as a fleece with a much lighter (also a Bean item) base layer under it. It’s colorful and fun and coordinates with almost anything you want to pair it with. It is warm and washes beautifully and there is no shrinkage. Of course, you could use it as a base layer, but why not show it off!

It's all about the layers
Fun and comfortable. Very light weight, but still warm. I wear this over my base layer with an outer shell and I am good to go.
