Rated 4 out of 5 by Alan T from Really nice jack-shirt It's good looking, and it's mostly warm enough for mild winter. It shrinks after washing and drying tho, so size up. It also should have at least one internal pocket since the two chest pockets are quite small. The insulation is mostly enough for a mild winter, but it's not particularly breathable and the arms are pretty bulky. Overall really nice but have rooms for improvements

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bonzi from So Disappointed… I’m tired of being fooled by LLB item/sizing/fit descriptions that include the words ‘slim’ or ‘’tailored’. Never true! I had no issue whatsoever with the price point on this Todd Snyder piece and expected a ‘tailored fit’ as described…shoulders fit great; arm length great too, but turn sideways and it looks like I’m wearing a TENT! Therefore, I would describe this a full or relaxed fit or a piece for someone with a 40” waist, not a 34” waist.

More importantly is the quality of this piece, well made and will last forever. The fit is true to size, I am 5’5 180 lbs. I have an athletic build the shirt fits fine with a tee or a long sleeve shirt underneath. If you plan on layering something underneath like a sweater you will need to order a size up. The shirt fits perfect on my shoulders, chest and arms. It is a little big around the waist and stomach, I ordered a medium and I am a 32” waist, chest is 41”. Hope this helps someone figure out what size to order, basically if you plan on having layers on underneath go a size up if you plan on wearing tees, short or long sleeve order normal size it fits really nice with a tailored feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PandaPants from Well made classic! Yes, this is expensive. However the quality and details are very much worth the price! I grew up in Portsmouth, NH and have always had L.L. Bean in my life. I now live in Las Vegas where it doesn’t really get cold enough during the winter to need a heavy coat (but it is the desert and the nights can get very chilly), however this quilted flannel will fit my needs for most of the winter! The construction is solid, the fabrics used feel lush and it is weighty and warm. I got the Light Russet Plaid and the muted autumn tones remind me of back home. This will last me the rest of my life no doubt. I opted for the XXL because I’m busty (40H) and may want to wear a sweater underneath, though a bit long in the arms (expected as this is tailored for men) it fits me comfortably and fully snaps. Money well spent and I’m always happy to spend mine with L.L. Bean!
