For most LL Bean boots I have to order a size smaller than I usually wear, same for these. I already figured that when I bought them so they fit just fine ordering a smaller size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JoeJ from Comfortable! But not a WORK boot nor a HIKING boot Bought these recently and they are very comfortable. The sizing seems to run big. I am an 11 or 11.5 in many other shoes, but had to get these in a 10.5. The information that comes with them, especially regarding the Vibram sole, states that they are a casual boot. The tag attached to the boots states the Vibram sole is a NewFlex sole which has a softer rubber designed for comfort. This means it will wear down faster than other soles with a harder rubber. Do not buy this expecting a work boot or hiking boot though, they are not made for that purpose. It's a great casual "lifestyle" boot and is very comfortable.

They are a superior value and wear better than similar, more expensive boots. I'm bummed that they are no longer available in my size! I'm off the get them resoled.

Portions separate around the heel leaving others to push up against my foot in a very weird way. I thought maybe it was just some break in and gave them a chance, but they remained uncomfortable so I’ll be sending them back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Paulie D from Looks great… but not so durable. Bought these because they looked great and LL Bean typically has high quality stuff. I’m actually only on the website now because I wanted to see if they were made of real leather because the quality is so low I thought maybe it was pleather. The Vibram soles are not the durable work boot Vibram soles I’m familiar with, but a foam rubber feeling sole that wore down incredibly quickly. My brother and I both bought them and were both disappointed and had the same experience. However, we were treating them like work boots and hiking boots. If you’re buying strictly for casual wear and fashion, then they are great.
