It is so soft - it feels great on one’s arms. There are no negatives with this item - it has saved my back while sitting on my bed! I would highly recommend this product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Finch from It might be great for you--but not for me I'm giving this a 3, although it didn't work out for me and I'm returning it today. For me it simply wasn't comfortable. Others have mentioned that, for them also, the shape pushed against their back instead of being comfortable to lean against. I tried it out 3 times and had to get up each time in a few minutes. It's also true that the armrests were too short to use (although I'm a small woman); in fact, I would never have been able to use the built-in pocket for phone or remote because I couldn't comfortably reach that far back. I wasn't concerned about the armrests being too short to use though, since I thought of them simply as supports to keep the backrest standing up. I just simply couldn't get comfortable at all. However, on the plus side, I liked the fabric's texture and woodsmoke color very much. I found the pillow neither too soft nor too firm. The overall quality seemed excellent. I wanted to like it--but unfortunately I just couldn't get comfortable leaning against it. I hope it works for you though!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Susan H from Not a good one. Bad for your back. This is such as standard backrest found on the internet. There's virtually no support, it's too soft. It's returned. Hope LL Bean will make a better one with more firm support.
