Rated 1 out of 5 by from Filled with flaws. Too many flaws to really work in the field. I used this extensively for a year in the field for grouse, pheasant, and woodcock. It is just so disappointing. I’m going to a completely different manufacturer for better upland vest. It’s not the materials, the vest is designed with the usual L.L. Bean quality, but it’s the design of the vest itself. I’ll start with the straps they are hiking pack straps not really for an upland vest. The butt of the gun stock continually slides off of straps making the gun mount difficult to deliver consistently. The stock always slides off the strap. The shell pockets are so small that it’s really difficult to get a glove hand inside the shell pockets and really they aren’t large enough to hold an average amount of shells. The water bottle pockets are not adjustable in terms of being able to slide them into a different position — they are in a very awkward position on the vest. In fact, nothing on this vest is adjustable other than the belt size and small chest strap. The bird pocket needs to be larger, much larger. Good luck getting more than one pheasant in it. I’m not sure why they designed an eyeglass case to fit high on either the left or right strap, because that makes shouldering a shotgun impossible. Just the picture of the model standing there with the eyeglass case attached to me is a clear indication this vest is designed for profit rather than the pursuit of upland game birds The only part of the vest that I do like are the pockets at the top of the game pocket. In photos it all looks great. In the field it doesn’t work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for your money. It's a great vest so far. Lot's of storage pouches and pheasants are easily put into the game pouch. The one drawback it has in my opinion is the GPS holder rides a little too high although it can be changed from side to side.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good vest so far So far this pack has been good. The shell pockets are secure and have not opened accidentally yet. However, the eye glasses pouch was lost the first 15 minutes. That needs a more secure attachment method. Please send me a new one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made and very comfortable! Huge game bag. I just tried out my vest pack for the first time on a South Dakota pheasant hunt. It's very well made and comfortable. Huge game bag. The lower belt is really an added bonus - it gives your back some support and takes some weight off your shoulders. The front shell pockets seal well, you wont loose any shells when bending over. They are slightly smaller than a 12 gauge box, you wont be able to fit the filled box into the pocket. The water bottle pockets are nice, but difficult to access when wearing the vest. Tons of storage in the back area.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Two problems Good concept but two problems: can’t reach the game pouch without taking off because too far back, water pouches too shallow to zip so not secured and bottles fall out.
