Nice weight, zips up easily and the pockets are perfect, especially the one inside for one’s mobile phone. Bought the XXL for husband and it fits him just right. Definitely would recommend for tall and big gentlemen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grom from Zip sweatshirt Good coverup for cool mornings or nights, or days when temperature in mid-60’s. Not bulky like a cotton sweatshirt and much lighter than a jacket. It’s also windproof which is a plus when the cool Canadian air blows along Lake Erie. Perfect in between when a sweatshirt is too light and a jacket is too much. Also dressy enough to wear to a nice restaurant where a sweatshirt would look out of place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TriMomma from A Little tight around the middle Tight over hips and around lower torso, even on my very slender husband. If there’s even a little bit of a belly, this will show it off. Getting a larger size to have a little more room would have meant super long sleeves. Great fabric, weight, color, and is packable - handy for cool mornings/evenings in the desert. Recommend for very slender men.

Is it the answer to a problem that doesn't exist? It's elastic. How long's THAT going to last? It can't be removed without ruining the garment. If this is some new fashion trend of which I'm unaware, then I apologize. Wish I'd picked up on that from the photos. It's so nice otherwise that I decided to keep both of the ones I ordered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SamNYC from Great multipurpose item This jacket can do many things--it looks like a wool sweater, so it's suitable for business casual meetings, but also good for hiking or bike commuting. It's not exactly a technical piece, partly do to the fit, which is a bit baggy, but that is a plus for me, it can layer over a button down shirt for work but still works over a t-shirt on weekends. It's medium weight and rather thin, but warmer than it looks. Its flexibility also makes it great for travel. I actually was going to order one in a second color but it sold out--hope LL Bean brings it back in the fall.
