Sizing issue
Ordered two LL Bean tankini tops, both according to the sizing chart, which says I should be a 14.
The first one I ordered was extremely large and unwearable.
This one was very tight in the bra portion, but the rest of the tank was flow-y, to the point of looking like a maternity top. Returning both.

Comfortable & flattering
I LOVE this tankini top! It is so comfortable I forget that I have a bathing suit on. It provides great support for activities without any Janet Jackson moments - even when diving off a boat. The wide straps are comfy, and the gathering in front is flattering. The under layer holds you in without being too tight, and stayed put on top of bottoms allowing for freer movement too. Also the padding in front is just right - no annoying inserts that move around or bunch up. About to buy it in the print version! LL Bean please make this again in more colors!!!

Unexpected underlayer
I didn’t like this top. There was an under layer that was very tight so it was very difficult to get on and off. I returned it.

Awesome purchase
Super comfortable and flattering. I love the undershirt like part to tuck into swim bottoms. I wear an 18 and purchased a 2X and it fits well maybe a little loose but I like that.

Slimming-not
There is a tight slimming fabric in front which is very hot, and made the swim top feel too small. The gathered fabric detail below the bust was unflattering, detracting from the “slimming “ design.

Looked good, felt bad
I loved the flare of the skirt, nothing binding or needing to be adjusted. The top looked great, also flowing nicely BUT the under section was tight and of the type that felt like it would roll and need constant pulling down

Was so looking forward to this black tankini top to go with my LL Bean black swim shorts and swim skirt. It is adorable looking and soft. Fit is another issue. All my swimwear from LL Bean is a size 14 and fits perfectly. I couldn’t even get this over my chest area. Fit totally off.
