Men's Tropicwear Pants est évalué 3.9 de 5 de 44.
Rated 3 de 5 de par Compared to the old style, these are a 3 I had the luck to purchase a couple pairs of tropicwear pants several years ago. They were everything you could want. Light weight, super comfortable in the heat, stylish, very good utility, great fit, easy to care for and more. Like every 'well used' item, mine eventually developed small knicks, tears, holes and frayed edges. I still have them as 'cutoff' shorts, but ultimately a new pair was in order. I was a bit sad with my new order. The fabric is definitely different... a bit more 'crinkley' and less smooth / flowing - if that makes sense. It reminds me of an old plastic/nylon windbreaker vs say a silk shirt. Possibly the new fabric is a bit more durable or more tear resistant, and that might be a fair trade-off, but time will tell. My next issue is the the pockets aren't near as deep as the old style. With the old pants, you cold put items in your pockets and they would generally stay there. With these, you better check around your area every time you sit down. I've had everything from coins to usb sticks, to a compass and car keys (YIKES!) fall out after setting down for a bit on a trail. I've learned to use the velcro or zipper pocket for anything 'valuable'. But then you have valuable items that you use often throughout the day, so get the hassle of ripping the velcro or zipper open dozens of times a day. Lastly - it seems like the max length is 34" inseam. C'mon - there are some of us taller than 6' out here. Getting a 36" inseam would be ideal. So overall, if I were shorter and didn't know the old style, these would be a "5 star" pant. Given the changes - which I can't say are 'better' - and only 34" inseam, they definitely leave room for improvement.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Sailing I use these pants for sailing. They are great - light and allow movement. They are also compparable to those pants made for sailing but less in cost.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Comfortable and very well designed and constructed Very comfortable and well constructed. I find it hard to choose to wear anything else in the warm weather, almost as cool as shorts. The only problem I have had is the top pockets are pretty shallow, and what I put into them tends to slip out when I'm seated in a car.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good fit, light and comfortable. Good pants for hot summer days when wearing shorts is not appropriate. I also own the cargo shorts version of these pants which I wear all the time.

Rated 1 de 5 de par The most UNflattering pair of pants a man could buy. The legs are not tapered The belt loops are placed incorrect. Overall a bad decision if you want to look like a smart & stylish dresser

Rated 5 de 5 de par These Pants Beat the Heat These are the tropical/fishing pants I have been looking for. They beat the 100+ temps of Texas. Unlike most fishing pants, the material is tough enough to give you some protection against most of the flora you encounter. Best of all they fit. Enough on the pockets. If you have stuff you have to take and can't lose, put it in the zipper pocket. There is plenty of room there and a zipper pocket beats the daylights out any other kind of protection of your "stuff'." That zipper pocket is right next to the right pocket, so unlike the zipper pockets on most other brands that is your back pocket you don't get a surprise whenever you sit down in these pants.
