Rated 5 out of 5 by from No More Cold Ankles I often choose colorful slippers but this time I decided to go with the more natural color: cement. It’s a brownish color that doesn’t stand out on my size 9 feet. I usually wear a size 9 in athletic shoes and I find these to be just a little long, but a full size down would be too small. The soles of these slippers are perfect when I have to step outside with the dog. I do notice though, that when I walk around inside, the sole is a little noisy on hard flooring. If you like to be stealthy, you may want to choose a slipper with a softer sole. This is my first time buying slippers from L.L. Bean, and I’m happy because these are warm and well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfy! The Jury was out when I first got these because I didn't know if I wanted such a firm sole. But the more I wore them around the house the more I loved them. And for me that says a lot because I have narrow feet and I am a 9 1/2. So I was skeptical. The 10 works well. The fact that they are a little bit harder to pull on is great for me with a narrow foot. I also slip in a 1/2 to 3/4 length Superfeet arch support and they still fit well. I also, like others have mentioned, enjoy being able to step outside or into the garage without switching shoes. I would highly recommend these, even for narrow feet, and I would size up 1/2 size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort and Joy After whacking two different toes, each on separate occasions, on my right foot against a piece of furniture (one a foot stool and one a coffee table) and forever deforming them, I decided it was time to invest in heavy-duty, protective, house slipper equipment that prevents phalange damage while also providing warmth for my toesies. These are perfect! Initially, I had to pull and tug a bit to get my heel through the opening but it's getting easier with each morning and evening of wear. I wear size 6 1/2 N to M street shoes. My running shoe is Size 7 1/2 N; keep in mind that running shoes are sized one number larger than street shoes. I ordered the Boot Moc in Size 7.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit and size Very disappointed. We have been ordering from L.L. Bean for years, usually with great results with the exception of my order for these slippers. I ordered a size 7, my usual size and the left foot slipper was so tight, it felt like a size 6 and then I put on the right foot slipper and it was so loose, it felt like a size 8. I could also tell that the pair of slippers I ordered and were sent to me, were pre-owned by someone else because the bottom soles of the slippers were blackened, not heavily but you could definitely tell someone else had worn them. Really wanted to like these for quick trips out with the dog because of the rubber sole bottoms which is why I was so disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but not hands free on/off I waited for months due to this product being on back order. Finally arrived. They are true to size. Sturdy build & quality materials—just what i wanted so I can step outside with my dogs. They are not easy on/off. It takes a tug with one hand to get in them. There is no “stretch side gore panel” as the description would lead you to believe—this is a copy/paste from the LLBEAN website: Construction Durable, water-resistant suede upper. Soft Berber fleece lining offers instant warmth. Thick EVA insole is removable and provides extra comfort. Chain-tread rubber bottom for traction. *******Stretch side-gore panels for easy on/off******. Bean Boot-inspired embellished tread pattern for a rugged look. Imported.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommended I was looking for a warm, comfy slipper to wear around the house this winter, and I fell in love with these at first sight. They were on a 2 month back-order when I placed my order, but they looked like they might be worth the wait so I ordered anyway. They did not disappoint!! I wear these everyday as around the house slippers. They keep my feet nice and warm without making them sweat. The sturdy sole allows me to wear them when stepping outside briefly (running to the mailbox or taking the dog outside). I love that I don't have to change my footwear for little trips like that. These are truly one of my favorite things right now. Cozy, cute, great quality, and durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Perfect I am wearing these mountain Mocs for the second day and they are perfect. The sole is just right for taking the puppy on wet grass. Actually, no laces means no opportunity for puppy to grab them! Indoors they are toasty without being too warm. Another review mentioned getting them on. I do not have a high instep so this is not a problem. They fit well with socks and the removable insole leaves room for my arch inserts. They will be wonderful in the Winter and can imagine them going well with jeans on these indoor days. Highly recommended!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not that impressed I bought these to replace an old pair of Bean clogs that wore out., on the theory that this style might prevent cold ankles. I did find them hard to get on at first, as others have mentioned, but they loosened up quickly and now my feet slip right in. My rating is as low as it is because the fleece lining is disappointing - not nearly as fluffy and cushy as my previous slippers were, and after just a couple months of wear they’re becoming stinky. On the plus side, I do like the soles - great for running out to the mailbox and good on slippery floors. Overall, meh.
