Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right Scuff My foot sometimes needs a wide fit depending upon the fit of the shoe that I am trying on. Got a pair of the Ash Scuffs in October. I am size 11 and a medium width. These are the most comfortable pair of slippers that I have ever worn. The rear height in the back of the slipper is perfect. My heal does not pop out at all. I have had that problem with other slippers. The sole grips just enough that makes wearing them comfortable both inside and outside of my home. I can attest to that because I forgot that I had them on one day. I walked to the mail box around the corner and back to my house before I realized that I had them on my feet. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mountain Slipper Scuffs I read the reviews regarding the size and ordered the size up. I wear a 44 -44.5 which equates to a 10 1/2 (ish). Great sole, good solid upper and quality stitching. I live bottom left corner of the USA and enjoy moderate weather and these keep my feet nice and (almost too) toasty. Easy on and off but are not sloppy, feet shuffling while trying to keep them on. I like the low back with a small lip to keep the scuff just snug enough. You can take the foot bed out if you'd like to insert an after market foot support or thick socks. The style is fresh in the sea of trendy sheepskin boots so popular among the beach crowd. I highly recommend these scuffs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect WFH Slipper When you are working from home and having to run in and out of your house throughout the day. This will give you the best out of both a slipper and a shoe/sneaker with an actual slipper. They were initially a little tight but had a feeling they would stretch and they did. Now they are broken in I forget they are on. They have a nice grip with the comfort of a slipper. So if you think they are initially tight on the top of the foot just wear them around the house for a little bit. You don’t want them too long bc they will slide off your feet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Problem is the insole Insole is the problem with the fit. I read many of the reviews before purchasing and can attest that, yes, you definitely need to order a size up. I wear a 9.5 and bought the 10. The length is fine, but it can barely get my foot in them. The problem is not the shoe - it is the insole. The insole base is far too thick for the shoe and the top of the insole is fleece. Combined, it is way too thick for the shoe. If you discard the factory insole, and use third-party insoles, they fit fine. However, the factory insoles make the shoe unwearable. To get them large enough to get your foot into them would require a length that is far too long to work. Other than that - great shoe!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just too narrow Good quality slipper. Wish it would’ve worked. But somehow folks who make shoes think that size 13 has to be toothpick thin. So if you’re long and lean and have some skinny long feet these are the slippers for you. But if you’re 6’1” and 250lbs like me and have some man feet then you ought to look elsewhere. Bc you might have trouble just getting these things on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waaaaay too narrow If you don’t prefer a narrower shoe don’t purchase these. I was very disappointed because normally things from L.L. Bean are great. Not only are they too narrow they are way too tight and I ordered a size up. They are so tight that it seems to be cutting off the circulation to my foot. Maybe they’ll loosen up overtime but I don’t know if I’m willing to wear them in pain to get to that point. I can’t tell if this is a slipper trying to be a shoe or a shoe trying to be a slipper. Either way, it somehow is neither.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too small to even get on my foot I've purchased dozens of LL Bean shoes over the years, of various styles. I'm a size 9 all day. When these arrived, they looked just like I was expecting. However, when I tried to put them on—no way was I going to get my foot into that slipper. I even looked at the box to make sure it said 9, and not 8 or even 7. Hard to believe the sizing could be so far off. I just boxed them up and sent them back. Disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Liked the product but fits a little small I probably shouldn’t have gotten scuff style but I wanted to try something different. However, the only reason small fit is workable is the low scuff back makes it easier to get on. Over time the fit works better as the slipper stretches out. Me design feature that is really useful is the small heel patch of more durable material under your heal that has always been a wear point on my LL Bean slippers. This durable material should increase slipper life.
