Looks Great. Fits Great. Cheaply Made.
Bought this in March '22. Loved the look and fit. Sadly it began to fall apart with holes developing after just a few months, one of several LL Beam purchases over the past several years that show a real decline in quality.

learn to love my sweater.
Interesting color's, I think I will grow to like it with jeans. the sleeves seem to be inordinately long. my arms are a little short but this hangs down over my fingers and it's a little loose to push the sleeves up and have them stay, having said that I will keep the sweater and try to learn to continue pushing my sleeves up, quality is great, just doesnt fit me too well.

Sweater too large.
Unfortunately the sweater in 'Large' was much too big. I washed it twice and even with hot water it would not shrink. I guess this particular fabric does not do that which I did not know. Believe me I donated it to a Ukrainian family who collected clothing to be shipped to Ukraine! True story!

Exceeds Expectations
I actually enjoy this more than I thought I might. I was expecting it to be thinner and less comfortable but have been pleasantly surprised.

Oversizing getting even more ridiculous
I have a version of this sweater from last year in the best color, charcoal, and posted a review praising it that has somehow disappeared from the site. Suffice it to say that the sizing problem I noted in that review seems to be getting worse, not better: the always ridiculous "traditional fit" is now more than a full size too large. I'm a down-the-middle Medium in most men's brands, and the previous year's Small fits me well; this year, the Small is absurdly baggy even after a trip through the dryer. It literally hits below the crotch, fitting like a mini-dress, with about 4" of extra material around the midsection (and I'm not exactly putting a six pack of washboard abs into it either). If an XS were available I'd have to step down to it to find anything even remotely close to my extremely normal, average-sized American body.
