Rated 4 out of 5 by cfin from warm and dry... for the most part Got these as a gift and for the most part they are great. feet stay warm and dry. Ankles, totally different story. snow is regularly kicked up around the ankles and because they are loose around the ankles snow goes right in and hangs out on/around the socks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KiKi from Size down ladies I routinely wear a 10 in a boot, based on the size chart got an 11. Wayyyy to big and exchanged for 10. Even with a thick wool sock, they are still too roomy and I have the laces pulled as tightly as possible. There is no longer a 9 so I will try the 10. My boots of 30 years gave uo last winter, so I am hopeful I can wear these comfortable in the cold, snow and rain. I know the quality is great and they are well made. But, I recommend a size diwn (or 2 to be honest).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mainevisitor from A bit too roomy Good for muddy trails but need double socks to fit. I wear a size 8 and this is likely the correct size but hard to cinch up to be snug. I was hoping to replace a pair of insulated ankle height bean boots which finally started disintegrating at the soles after many years. I wish I had found an exact replacement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by IAPER from Well Made The furry inside seemed to make the boot smaller and tighter. I ordered a 7 and usual size is 7 1/2. I felt they were too tight. Could hardly get a sock in. Nice boot thought. Loved brown/black combo.
