He hates big puffer jackets and thick fleece, so this jacket is perfect for him - warm without being bulky. I’d say it runs a little small…we originally ordered a M/10–12 and it just fit…so we exchanged for a L/14-16 and it is roomy enough for layers and should work for another season (he is a tall 9 yr old about 4’10 and 80ish lbs).
