Rated 5 out of 5 by dj tanner from great hat for the pool! The material of this hat is perfect for wearing at the pool. It doesn’t hold the water and dries quick. The brim never gets floppy even when the hat is totally wet. The brim completely shades my face and neck and the hat doesn’t feel hot on your head. The material is sort of like a really thick bathing suit so I wouldn’t wear it anywhere but at the pool but I wanted it for a pool hat so it works great for me. I could live without the tie that goes under your chin, but it could be easily removed if you wanted, its not actually sewn to the hat. I just tie it in a bow under my hair in the back and it doesn’t bother me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mariah from Great, functional and stylish hat I’ve worn this hat several times now over the last few weeks. I don’t agree with the other reviewer about the hat blowing off, it has stayed on my head on windy days and without cinching the string too. My hat says M/L though so maybe my hat fits my head just right, it’s snug but not too tight. I’m very active outside and constantly on the move with a three year old and my hat has stayed put even with light jogging. I like the stretchy material and how it doesn’t leave crease lines on my forehead when I take it off. It works very well in direct sun with the brim not flapping around at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Beachwalker from Not a good choice in the wind I purchased this hat for long beach walks and regret my decision. Initially I was looking at a less expensive sunhat with a brim that seemed not as wide but a friend suggested this one for better overall head and neck sun protection. I've worn it on several walks but it has blown off every time except once when it was perfectly calm without even the slightest breeze. I pull it down to my eyes with the strap as tight as it will go but still have to walk with one hand holding on or sometimes take it off and carry. On the plus side, the color is great. the fabric is cool, comfortable, and dries fast but the hat simply does not work for me.
