I really would have liked it to be something I could use to take to work, but it lacked a laptop sleeve or other internal pockets for miscellaneous items. I ended up getting the mountain classic cordura pack instead

I am traveling to Europe for a month and I needed a high quality pack to haul some additional luggage in addition to my small suitcase. It is very good quality. Large durable zippers, clips and shoulder straps. The bracing supports make this pack very stable and I like that it has a waist strap and a chest strap. I don't want outside pockets because of a lot of pick pockets in Europe. There are a couple inside pockets however. This is a gear pack the perfectly fit my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Square teef from Great bag Great back pack. The “backplate” makes a huge difference. Tough materials. The exterior water bottle holders elastic is very sturdy. Yeah. I like this bag. If I was going to mention one downside. Minimal organizational pockets inside. Couple more would be nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by soxx from Well Made Pack!! This is a nice well made pack. I have two of them. The pack offers good support for fairly heavy loads with comfortable shoulder straps, a good hip belt, load lifters and compression straps. I use it to carry heavy tools for stonework and green woodworking to and from worksites, some of which are a bit off the beaten path. It sure beats a hand carried tool bag, and I bet it would handle a day hike pretty well, too.
