Women's L.L.Bean Tee, Long-Sleeve Boatneck Tunic is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shrinks with wash I have mixed feelings about this shirt. When I initially tried this on out of the bag, I wondered why others had posted that it was not tunic length. However, after it's first wash I can see why. This is definitely one you would want to size up or hang to dry if you buy your normal size. It is now a nice 'long' shirt, but not tunic length- it comes right above the back pockets of my LL Bean jeans. Since it's shorter than a tunic, it has a rather boxy fit and shows my belly lumps. I sometimes find myself pulling the sleeves down as they fit snugly, however, it is relatively comfortable to wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from More colors in this tunic, please! I like the boatneck tunic. The fit is fine, though I often find that all the LLBean tees shrink in length -- I wish there was a "long" or "tall" size option. But why isn't it offered in the new colors, Silver Blue and Mauve Pink? The print catalog page proclaims "NEW COLORS + styles", but oh, wait, you can't get the NEW COLOR in the NEW STYLE. And I have the same complaint about the lack of the NEW COLORS for several other styles, like the 3/4 sleeve splitneck tunic. More colors, please!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not really a tunic This is a very nice longish tee shirt, but not a tunic. I purchased to wear with leggings and it barely covers "all that needs to be covered." Have held off washing it, after all the reviews about shrinkage. I am on the short side of medium height (5"4') so this would not work with leggings for anyone taller. What about making a true tunic in this material that's a few inches longer?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a tunic I kept this top because it is the wonderful LL Bean knit but it is not long enough to be a tunic. A” tunic “ should be long enough to cover one’s bum with leggings which for me is about 30” from shoulder or back seam. I’m only 5’4” and this “tunic” Does Not cover. Come on Bean- get with it

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Baggy neck This tunic would have been fine except for the fact that the neck was very loose and gaping. The scoop was far too big, and the fabric wasn't stiff enough to keep it close to the body. Larger-sized people don't necessarily need openings this much larger. It appears just to have been scaled up from smaller sizes rather than being tried on a plus-size person. I returned one and canceled the one that was on back order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hurray! Hurray for reviving your classic tunic! For the past several years, LLBean replaced it with increasingly bizarre versions ("split neck" / "shoulder buttons" / etc) that were less attractive and simply too complicated. Every shopper has a product that "gets them in the door" and this tunic was mine with LL Bean: for years I bought several each season. Sadly, I just "dropped out" as a LLB shopper when you stopped producing your simple, elegant, boatneck tunic (and in your classic sturdy cotton... not your flimsy "pima"). I am thrilled to see you revive your classic boatneck tunic, and hope you will soon again offer it both in long sleeve and 3/4 sleeve models as you once did (and eventually... in many other colors!). Bravo for bringing this item back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long-Sleeve Boatneck Tunic I have discovered that due to shrinkage it is best for me to buy these LL Bean tees one size larger than I normally buy. Wash them once in cold water, tumble dry on medium until almost dry, then hang to finish drying and they fit perfectly!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed This tunic shrank. After a single wash the sleeves are too short and a bit tighter. The fabric of this tunic version wrinkles. It is not the same as the fabric in LLBean's boatneck tee shirt version, which I have and love. Please consider returning to the good quality fabric of the boatneck tee of last fall.
