Men's Pathfinder Gore-Tex Shell Jacket is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality and function This jacket is of high quality and function. The zippers, outer and inner fabric, velcro sleeve tabs, and pulls are solid. I appreciate the many pockets: 2 hand pockets, chest pocket, inner zip pocket, and inner stash pocket...very nice. Each pit zip zipper has 2 pulls so you can dial in the ventilation. The length of the jacket helps keep your butt dry. This is a solid 3-layer rain jacket that keeps me dry, and I expect will last a long time. My wife says it looks good too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent jacket I bought this to replace my Marmot rain jacket I purchased several years ago that began to flake on the inside and lose its waterproofing. The material of this raincoat is extremely durable and well-made. I’ve worn it in severe rain storms and as an outer shell in cold weather with a down jacket underneath. If this product were available when I bought my last jacket I’m certain I would still be using it, I imagine this is going to last me many years to come. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Minimalist - Color Darker than expected This jacket was a steal during the black Friday pricing. Gore tex, all seam sealed, and slightly fitted (but not for waifs). I vacillate between a medium and a large, and a have 43" chest, and the medium fits me just fine even with the base layers on underneath. If I could change anything about the jacket it would be to add a powder skirt, and a ski pass pocket in the forearm. Also, on my computer screen the orange looks on the brighter/lighter side - like a carrot, but when I received the jacket the orange is quiet a bit darker and leaning more towards a reddish safety cone neon color - similar to the Orange of the Salomon QST skis if you know what that looks like. I wish the computer colors matched closer to true life - that makes it hard to order things with specific colors. But the jacket is a great addition if you want something minimalistic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sizes run smaller than their other items I’m 6’5” and 255lb. I usually wear tall xl in LL Bean products as I own their sweat shirts to another coat all in tall XL, but the pathfinder was a little to snug side for me in that size, so I ordered the tall XXL which is a little loose but I would rather have the room foyers if needed. Keep in mind this is just a gore-tex shell so you’ll need layers for warmth in cold weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from skier in vt I purchased this jacket for my husband who never wants to buy anything for himself. He is a big fan of layers and wanted a lighter jacket. It seems like this did the trick. It fits him well and is a very light outer layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dry as Toast After and hour and half walk in a heavy rain, I was dry as toast - from the waist up. Arm pit vents kept me reasonably cool. Looks to be a high quality, well constructed garment. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain jacket I typically wear a size 42 dress coat. I initially purchased a size medium in this jacket but it was snug across the shoulder. Ok with just a T-shirt but restricted movement when wear a long sleeve shirt. The large is perfect and allows ample room for movement. Very nice well constructed jacket. Should last many years.
