Had ample room for a down jacket for extra warmth and stayed dry all day, every day! Being 6’3” like the tall aspect for a little extra length in the sleeve and length ensuring I stayed dry. Lastly, loved the Gore Tex aspect with others selling for way more at retail stores. Glad I went LL Bean!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Thomas from Not backpack compatible. This jacket is nice and repels rain well but will abrade within a mile if you use a backpack. The jacket will also wear within day where it flexes and the arms touch the body while moving.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PJF CT from Just what I wanted Fits well, seems really waterproof, like the long hip-length cut, reinforced visor on the hood keeps rain off my glasses. Small gripe is that the zipper is a bit stiff, but perhaps it's a waterproof zipper that has to be tight to seal?

I purchased the large which might be a little bigger than I need, but with a raincoat bigger is better. I weigh 165 and 5'8''. Well worth the extra money.
