Women's Fleece-Lined Primaloft Coat is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from yes it runs small in arms/shoulders I read the previous reviews b4 I ordered. Went up a size. Usually wear an XL/1X...purchased a 2X Problem is the body is NOT fitted like the arms/shoulders. Going to put on a heavier sweater to see if I am keeping it. If I keep, will work well as a travel car coat...not to throw snow balls in. The fleece is like my favorite LL Bean hooded jacket I purchased maybe 5 years ago...it is a lot warmer than one would think and my go to jacket for fall and warm winter days. Also a zipper garage would have been nice with the pricing....my previous one above does. You guys missed that one! I said yes to recommend...would like a maybe option...only rec if they read the reviews to know the sizing issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thin/Upper Arms tight I have purchased jackets from Bean for decades. I've always been more than satisfied. This jacket left me less than satisfied. The first thing I noticed is that the upper arms are tight. It's the inner lining that is too tight. It's as though they sewed a smaller lining into a correctly sized sleeve. I can't even imagine wearing anything other than a thin top under this jacket. The sleeve cuffs are also tight. I wondered how an fully elasticized cuff would work out, as none of my other bean jackets have been all elastic. It doesn't work. Also, the jacket is thin. Like another customer, I doubt that this jacket would keep you warm. Lastly the fleece lining is cheap. I imagined a nice fleece fabric like the one used in my last jacket from Bean. For the price, this jacket is certainly not worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just right but question remains Petite xxs. 5'0, 90 lbs. This coat fit perfectly. Hits my knees covering backside. It hasn't been cold enough to wear it yet, but unless it falls apart, it appears to be well made. Sleeves have smooth lining which is best for going over clothes, but..here's the question, are the sleeves insulated? The fleece for the body will keep my neck and body warm. Live on coast of ME and the winds can be very strong on a cold day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color & Fit Even though I am a medium size person I always buy a large in LL Bean coats. This one is a little snug in the arms & through the body but I like how light weight & warm it is. Not able to comfortably wear a lightweight sweater under it. Good for going to appointments or shopping which is what I bought it for. Don't like to wear my heavier coats for that. Not really for prolonged wearing outdoors in cold weather at least for me. I was disappointed in the color. Spruce pine looked very different online & in the catalogs. The color is much darker--more like hunter green.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weird fit and super thin The upper arms and shoulders of this jacket are absurdly tight- I own a different primaloft LLBean jacket which is actually a smaller size and the arms are better fitting. I would suggest sizing up if you have broad shoulders. This coat also is very thin, I’m skeptical it would keep anyone warm even with the fleece lining. Sending it back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fall coat Nice coat but not for very cold weather. As with most of the coats I have bought lately the zipper is of poor quality. I am already having trouble with the zipper getting stuck at the bottom when I go to unzip it. I have already had two the have had the zipper split open and I' be had to get rid of them. You need better quality zippers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two thumbs up! Thank you Bean team for putting this item together. First, I got the spruce pine color, accurate to online photo. Second, the coat has some weight to it, not feather weight but not heavy either. Third, the princess seams are flattering and is slightly tapered at the waist. More, coat is a good inch longer on the back, slightly rounded hem. The sleeves do not have the fleece lining. Hood is tidy. For comparison sake these are the measurements on the XL Reg when laying flat. Chest, 24" across under the arm, Length at the back 361/2", Shoulder seam at back yoke 171/2", sleeve width at underarm seam 81/2". At 5'6" the coat falls above my knee about 5". I have been looking for a coat like this for awhile. Good job design team. Too soon to comment about the warmth factor. Don't hesitate, buy now. One more note, the LLBean logo is small, embroidered on the left chest in small matching thread color letters, it's there but doesn't distract from the look of the coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Car Coat I am not surprised that LL Bean has sold out of most sizes and colors for this coat! I purchased the XL Coat in burgundy and am extremely happy with my purchase! It is a very comfortable coat, moves easily as I am out and about doing errands, in and out of the car. Excellent weight and warmth for that type of activity. I wanted to buy another color.... So LL Bean, please purchase more inventory!!
