Men's Organic Seersucker Shirt, Short-Sleeve, Slightly Fitted, Stripe is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality material or construction I have bought a number of seersucker shirts from Bean's over the years. I am returning these. The plackets require ironing due to what I suppose is poor quality material or construction--they simply fold over onto themselves. This is not minor wrinkling that I can overlook, and it will not get better as time goes by.. I need to be able to pull my shirts out of the dryer and have them wearable immediately. I cannot do that with these, as the appearance is not at all satisfactory. I am very disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like seersucker material Would like to have seersucker in traditional fit, not slightly fitted style. Why did you change? My older seersucker are fine with a relaxed fit. I returned this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable Summer Shirt Very comfortable summer wear shirt. Experienced some shrinkage after first wash, so consider ordering up a size if you like a loose fitting shirt. Fit and finish are excellent, even after several wash/dry cycles. Will be ordering another one in the other color. Recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different, not all good "Slightly Fitted" it and the other one I ordered may be, and they are comfortable, but my wife noticed the bit of tightness around the middle buttons and was not pleased. I'm not sending them back, but they'll be around-the-house wear for the most part. I was also taken aback that, contrary to the catalog photos, neither shirt has the expected button-down collar. I have noticed that the online photos have now been updated to buttonless collar wings. I do think L.L. Bean's seersucker fabric continues to be the truest to the fabric's mission in life: touching less fabric to skin while wicking moisture off of it. The few of other makers that I have benefit from my practice of washing the shirts and hanging them while wet over my bathtub overnight, as I do to the Beans. This lessens the too-silky-soft feel these misguided makers had thought an "improvement".

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrinkled badly I’m too used to no-iron clothes, I guess. This shirt required aroningbafter washing - it wrinkled badly after washing and drying. I tried twice. Oh, and I should have bought a traditional fit. It was a bit snug over my stomach. But that wasn’t the fault of the shirt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK, but fabric is thin, flimsy The shirt looks fine, fits OK, but the fabric is very thin, and with such narrow stripes there is very little seersucker "pucker" to it. A bit raggy, and I don't expect it to last very long. Quality of products gets cheaper all the time.
