Rated 5 out of 5 by Joblue from Perfect boating shirt I bought this anorak to wear when we are out on our boat. It’s very comfortable and keeps me cool while protecting me from the sun. I wish LL Bean would bring this item back because I would probably buy several.

This fabric is cool on warm days and warm when the weather is a bit cooler--very comfortable, breathes great, totally versatile. I would buy a few more if the length were longer. I have shorter legs but a wicked long back, and this does not give me as much coverage as I would prefer. If you made this so the length were more like a tunic, it would be perfect! It is great for beach combing, taking a long walk on those (Maine, New York, Vermont) summer days that start chilly but end up quite warm.

Light weight, attractive, functional pockets, good length, and comfortable. The hood keeps the deer flies out of my hair when necessary. Just about ideal for me, so I own in three colors and wear one most days. My college aged niece who is a bit shorter but likes her clothes large was happy with a size large as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by tominco from Way TOO SMALL I always wear a size large in L.L. Bean clothing. ALWAYS. I was intending to layer this lightweight top over a t-shirt or tank on sunny days to avoid having to use sunscreen. Since it was described as having Bean's most generous fit and that it is perfect for layering, I ordered my normal size, large. The actual top fit as sort of a skimpy large size. I could have worn it alone and it would have been OK, not too tight across the chest and hips, etc, but there is no way I would have been comfortable layering this over another lightweight top. The cuffed sleeves were also an issue for me. Not only did the cuff seem a little too formal for such a casual top, I am tall and for some reason L.L. Bean thinks tall women only need extra length in swimsuits and an occasional pair of pants. The sleeves on this top were way too short for me. Had the sleeves only had a hem, I might have been able to make it work or even go up a size but, with the cuffs it was a no go. It's too bad because the fabric was wonderful and the construction quality was what I expect from L.L. Bean. This concept could use a redesign.

Rated 5 out of 5 by maplescones from Light, comfortable fabric/Cute! This linen/cotton blend has a soft texture that breathes well. It feels comfortable against my skin. The deep blue striped pattern is lovely for summer! It's an attractive cover-up over a t-shirt or by itself. I like it!
