Women's Vista Lace Hikers, Low is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them I've been looking for a good walking/trail-jogging shoe that is comfortable, water resistant and relatively attractive. These shoes are all three. I'm not totally in love with how they look and sort of wish I'd gotten the no lace ones (I didn't like the color as much), but I can live with the looks given how great they are otherwise. The comfort level is 110%, which is why I can give them 5 stars even though the style is a little lacking in my eyes. The added feature of the seal that keeps rocks (and wood chips when chainsawing) from getting inside the shoe is a real bonus. Thanks LL Bean! You came through again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This version of vista hikers slips badly on heels I LOVE the "elastic top" vista low hikers. I wanted to try the laced variation just in case the elastics on the other get too "loose." I haven narrow feet and I ordered the same size. Unfortunately, the heel moves up and down quite a bit when I walk in them. Same socks I wear with the other vistas. Thicker socks just made the shoe feel too small. The length of the shoe was fine. The arch was in the same place, etc. The shoe may have seemed a bit bigger overall--bit wider in toe area, etc., so that may be the reason, but I was so disappointed as I really liked the look of these and wanted to add on to my vista low collection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from COMFY SHOES I read the previous reviews and they were exactly right. The shoe is sized too large. I normally wear a 6.5 which I ordered first - too large, too squishy, and doesn't hold your heel. I returned them and ordered the 6 which fits much better. They are attractive and very comfy for mucking about the home and out and about. I def. would not wear them hiking as they would not provide enough support for my feet. I'm older and my feet are grouchy which is why I wanted something easy to get into and wear a lot. No hiking tho. (they are advertised as low hikers....) I got two complements on them in one day - I like them a lot as long as you understand their limitations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these shoes I love these! I have wide feet and bunions, and try to buy wide sizes. But these hikers have a wide enough toe box for a comfortable fit. The neoprene liner keeps my feet firmly in the shoe and keeps the dust and pebbles out. I was skeptical about the lightweight sole, but it's great on trails and crushed rock. Flexible and lightweight. I'm glad I chose the shoe with laces for better width adjustment. I recommend these wholeheartedly for both trail and sidewalk.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from heel slips The shoes are cute and comfortable, but the heel slips a lot, even when the laces are pulled as tight as they go. I would not recommend them for any amount of walking or hiking. Luckily I have a desk job so I can wear them to the office.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Run Large I ordered an 11, but returned them for a size 10, which were perfect. Order, at least, a half size smaller than your true size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vista Hikers These shoes are wonderful for fall and winter wear. I walk a great deal and these shoes have great support. I liked the first pair so much that I bought two more pairs so that I'd have replacements. I just put the second pair on today. The first pair were good for 8 months. They would be a bit warm for summer wear. I hope that LL Bean continues to make these shoes. Sometimes the styles I like are discontinued.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So glad I sized down After reading previous reviews I went down a full size. I usually wear a 9.5 in athletic footwear and hiking shoes and boots but ordered an 8.5 in these and they were the perfect fit. At first I thought they were going to be very stiff but after walking about in them for a while I did not find this to be the case at all. I will use these for more of a casual wear shoe, for me, I need a more structured shoe for hiking , like Oboz. There is a little heel slippage but I tried different socks and that fixed the problem.
