I was never informed of when it shipped and arrived. For a company that does so much business online this is totally unsatisfactory. LL bean needs to join the internet age.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jabb from Go for the good chair! We are so glad we finally splurged and bought a pair of these folding, sturdy and comfortable style chairs. Wasted our money buying slightly cheaper chairs that had to have new and larger bolts and screws installed annually. Those chairs were sort-of comfortable and collapsed after 4 years. These LL Bean chairs feel great. Folding up makes them much easier to store in garage off-season. These are obviously much sturdier construction. Go for the good stuff! You won't regret it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by disappointedguy from Not well built I went through two of these chairs in three years. The first one lasted from June 2020 until August 2021. It broke (split) where the right arm connects to the back. of the chair. I took it to an LL Bean Store and they replaced it on the spot. The second one lasted from August 2021 until August 2023. It broke in 4 spots this summer! First, a couple months ago the support beam broke under the left arm which I was able to fix myself. However, last weekend I was sitting in it and heard a cracking sound and then felt the chair start to collapse. It broke in three places at once! The right arm broke away from the back of the chair (same spot the first chair did) and both support bars across the back split!!!!! Too bad because it was a wonderful chair to sit in and very comfortable. Oh well, maybe I just got a couple of lemons. In case anyone is wondering, I weigh 187 pounds, well under the limit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by IM60 from Beware of squirrels! I bought 2 of these chairs a couple of years ago hoping that they would be very durable with low/no maintenance. What I unfortunately found out the hard way was that squirrels(?)/animals love to gnaw and severely damage them. I am embarrassed to use them and regret purchasing them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Andrew from Great chairs but don’t get white! Have had this furniture for 2-3 years now. Everything looked great when it first arrived. But…white was a poor choice. They mold and turn brown and green, requiring regular power washing or scrubbing. Because the resin is not smooth there are thousands of pits and divots that will eventually mold. My chairs are now slowly turning brown. Disappointed. I should have picked a darker color…Don’t know if there’s any remedy to prevent this from continuing.
