Fine shorts
These are the standard Bean shorts and seem to be fine. Since cool weather has set in, I won’t know how they last for awhile so the only comment I have about something to be aware of is that the legs are ample. If you have skinny thighs, the legs may be too wide for you.

so nice I bought them twice
I purchased my first pair of these shorts in September 2021 and loved them. So comfortable. Just the right length and overall fit. But I found that I was wanting to wear them practically every day. So, in order to ensure that these shorts last "forever" I decided to purchase another pair recently. The newest pair resides in my dresser drawer only to be worn on vacation or other "special" occasions. The older pair hangs on the back of my closet door so I can take them down to wear every day (during my retirement here in warm South Carolina). In fact, I am wearing them as I write this review. Love these shorts!

Got it on sale.
I looked on several different websites for shorts in my size (plus) at a good price. I was unsuccessful until I saw these on sale at LL Bean. The fabric is nice and the fit is good. I especially like the fact that they come down right at my knees. I am 4'11" and I wear a size 20. I would buy these again.

Really like these shorts.
I liked these shorts so much I bought another pair in a different color. They fit well and wash well. I am very happy with my purchase.
