Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pants, cut Narrow I ordered these pants in two colors hoping for nice summer weight pants for the spring and summer season. While the fabric seems nice and light weight the cut of the pants is very narrow. I am tall 5ft 9in and curvy. I wear a 14 in many other companies pants, but decided to order up a size since it was the first pair I was trying from LL Bean. I barely got them on and the fit was very tight in my hips. I wish they had worked because the colors and length (ankle) were perfect for what I was looking for. I would love it if more companies offered a "Curvy" fit for those of us with small waists and larger hips. Otherwise I love LL Bean for shirts, sweaters and jackets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs large I own several pairs of L.L.Bean jeans and pants and have found the sizing to be spot on. Not the case with these chinos. The waist was at least 1/2 inch too big, and the hip and thigh are very baggy. Combined with the narrow leg opening, I'm not sure this is a great look on me; think jodhpurs. I do really like the material; it has a good weight, soft hand, and comes out of the dryer fairly wrinkle-free. After some deliberation, I decided to take in the waist so that they're not constantly slipping down and keep hoping they'll shrink a little with each washing. I don't have a particularly boyish figure, but these pants seem cut for curvier ladies.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Woman's Lakewashed Chinos I am okay with them and like all chino pants can work fine as business casual. I'm not a fan of off-set pockets. Even on slender folks, this type of pocket makes a person look as if their belly is so large the pockets are being pulled off-seam. I'll only wear these with a top that will cover the pockets. The legs also wrinkled badly after sitting in the car ten minutes and at church for an hour. They washed well. I line dried. These are comfortable and look nice when first put them on but they lose the fresh look rapidly due to the wrinkling factor. I purchased the 16 regular and fit was perfect for my sadly overweight self. (190 lbs. at 5'5")

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfy These pants are not only comfortable but a step up on looks for stay at home use. The fit is looser in the legs and hips and they look put together at home. I will be happy to wear these out to do my errands. I'm tired of the current trends to tight legging type pants and these look nice and are comfortable to sit and lounge in. They do stretch out as the day goes by. The sale color is unique and I love it. I bought a size 10 and then ordered an 8 which fits fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 sizes bigger by end of day These fit great out of the bag but after about an hour they start to stretch and by the end of the day everything but the waist was 2 sizes bigger. so I thought I would try to shrink them so washed in hot water and the only thing that changed was the length so now I have stretched out pants that are too short. I hope this helps

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not shaped well I have other pants from LL Bean that are size 10 and they fit well and are well shaped. These pants are tight but the waist (sits a little lower) is big - I don't get it. Also, it seemed to sit not just a 'little lower'. Maybe 'Quality Control' needs to step in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these! These chinos are very comfortable. I ended up ordering the khaki stone color and green. These are perfect for everyday wear. I will say they do stretch pretty good. I ordered a size 6. My next order will be a size 4 since they stretch so much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy and cute True to size, lightweight fabric, flattering for casual wear on this aging hourglass body. The slate color is a nice grayed blue, as versatile as denim. A good replacement for jeans in warmer weather. Enough stretch for comfort. Buying a second pair.
