Women's Lakewashed Organic Cotton Oxford Shirt, Relaxed is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Closer to the Classic Relaxed Oxford.... This shirt is closer to the Classic Oxford that many of us have been hoping would come back. Relaxed means no bust darts and this shirt has none. Yay! I'd prefer a button-down collar, but that is personal preference. The 100% cotton fabric quality is good; if you are fussy about wrinkles then you may need to iron it out of the dryer but it is pretty much as the old non-wrinkle-free oxfords were and I don't need to iron mine. The fit is overall good but somewhat snug in the back across the shoulders and the arms are snug at the forearms if you roll them up; shrinkage could ultimately make both an issue. But I will keep mine and see if any adjustments are made to the product in the future. You're almost there LL Bean! Thanks!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just OK I was thrilled to finally find a lavender oxford shirt to add to my collection. However, this shirt just isn't up to LLBean's previous quality. The color is great but that's about it. For a relaxed shirt it sure isn't in the armpits. Snug shoulders, too. Fabric is wrinkly and not nearly as smooth or thick as the previous oxfords you sold that were made in Peru. And lakewashed organic cotton?? What's up with that? I'm not going to eat it so organic is not an issue for me. And how clean was that lake you washed it in? :-) Oh well, too bad the price was so high for a mediocre shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fabric, Soft, Classic Shirt With the exception of the size the shirt was exactly what I wanted in an Oxford (or as close to I could get to the old classic Oxfords (which I happen to like a little wrinkled, like me now). I bought a small petite, cotton candy pink, and I'm exchanging if for an extra small petite - it's a little longer in the body than I want, sleeves as well but I rarely wear them any way except rolled up. This Organic cotton fabric is so soft (seems to be a little heavier with a smoother, closer weave than the regular lake washed cotton (which I also bought in small, petite - the slightly fitted shape fits me better). I think it's going to age well. Great to have the option of looser and comfy too. Great shirt, looking forward to having a blue one too....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expectation Not met Finally, after many years of wear, my original Bean oxford shirt needed to be retired. The new cotton oxford I just received was promptly returned. The quality I expect from a Bean product was not evident -- too thin, to tight across the shoulders, and too many wrinkles (even after ironing). The shirt is not worth the asking price. Too bad since I am a life-long Bean customer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gave it a try As a loyal fan of the original oxford cloth shirt, and being so disappointed that it was discontinued, I have put off trying this version till a couple of weeks ago. I finally gave in when another of my old oxfords finally wore out after years of wear. (sob) I ordered the pink color in petite large. The relaxed fit is a bit too big, which would not have mattered in the original's heavier fabric, but this fabric is much thinner and as a result, it looks a little slouchy. And it is longer than the old shirt. Also, the pink, though a pretty color, is a tiny bit see-through (you can see where the waist of your pants are when the shirt is untucked.) It definitely requires ironing....not as free of wrinkles as the original. I don't mind the non-button-down collar, but I do mind the flimsier fabric. It is a totally different shirt, so I guess I shouldn't compare it to the original. But boy, do I miss the old fabric. It was everything you could ever want in a shirt. I doubt I'll buy any more of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from new favorite! I got this washed oxford shirt in lavender. I has a great fit, relaxed, with a short feminine collar. It has enough room to wear a t shirt underneath, and it's long enough to wear untucked with leggings. It breathes and feels great against skin....of course it needs a touch of ironing if you want it crisp, but looks relaxed and smart without the iron. I may get it in a second color!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Great LL Bean is getting closer to our old favorite oxford shirt for women. But it's just not quite there. I really want the button down collar. and the length on the petite is just a bit too long. But it's close and I enjoy wearing it. Needs ironing...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice roomy fit This is a nice roomy shirt that can be worn right out of the dryer. I bought the petite and it hits right where it should. The only thing I don't like about this shirt is the set of the sleeves. They're set in just a bit far forward in front so the armhole seam comes in a little more than most in front. It doesn't affect the fit of the garment, it's still very comfortable through the shoulders so I'm keeping it!
