L.L.Bean Flannel Lined Camp Sleeping Bag, 40° is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My own oven This bag is amazing! I am always cold, usually freezing until June! Previously I'd use a sleeping bag, two sleep pads with some sort of insulation below those and another sleeping bag over me while wearing silks, wool socks, long sleeves another layer over all that and a hoodie, and yet? I still was left feeling cold! I wore the above mentioned with only this bag and the sleep pads under. At one point I thought my cheeks, on my face, were warm! I wasn't cold once in the night, even after a visit to the lugable loo, I warmed right back up! This bag is fantastic! The human torch over there, (see photo) said it was a little warm for his liking, but he slept well so we won't spend too much time on his review. Buy it, sleep warm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and well made! I am a firefighter and purchased the sleeping for indoors at the firehouse. It’s been difficult to find a sleeping bag that covers the bed, is comfortable, doesn’t get too hot, and does fall apart from the regular packing and unpacking. This sleeping bag is more expensive than others I’ve tried, but it’s worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FINALLY a good nights sleep... Bought 2 of these for our cabin camping trip. They are AMAZING! I am wondering why I waited so long to get these. Our previous sleeping bags were tiny, LOUD (nylon) when anyone moved and cold around the zipper area. These Beans ones are SO TOASTY warm & quiet! I was able to sleep all night! Very soft flannel inside. The colors are as described. Monnogramming was perfect. They are roomy as well. My husband & I both loved them & slept great. Very excited to use these for years to come...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great blanket It is as described. The only negative I've found is that it may be a little narrower than other (older) similar bags I've had. I'm only 5'7", 150#, and it seems a little difficult to change sleeping positions. Unzipped, it makes a great blanket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, soft, and beautiful color!! We camp mostly in cooler weather and my current sleeping bags were nylon. I wanted a flannel lined sleeping bag, so after researching, i found the LL Bean Flannel Lined Camp Sleeping Bag. It was reasonably priced and color selections were great! I was instantly warm and cozy in this sleeping bag.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sleeping Bag I've Owned I'm 6'1" 300lbs and I needed a big warm sleeping bag and I'm stoked I went with this one. I even slept in it on our bed a couple nights!! Quality zippers, looks and feels very well built but if this does ever wear out I'll buy another.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Zipper problems I agree that the zipper needs an upgrade as another reviewer wrote, otherwise the sleeping bag is great. I bought 2 of these sleeping bags and they were used 5 or 6 nights. They were washed separately in a new style top loader with no agitator and the zippers fully zipped per instructions. The sleeping bag fit loosely in the drum and had nothing to catch the zipper on. One came out fine and the other came out unzipped with the whole zipper pull mechanism detached, so it needs to be replaced. Please note that the directions do say to use a front load commercial washer. I’m looking to buy 2 more sleeping bags for Christmas presents, but I’ll be looking elsewhere. I’m a frequent LL Bean shopper and find most products to be of high quality. This was a disappointing purchase considering the cost.
