Rated 5 out of 5 by Gram210 from Zipper Cardigan I bought this for myself to keep warm inside during NY winter. I purchased a slightly larger size for comfort and layering. I love it and wear it often. It’s a good weight for outside on milder days in Spring/Fall as well. It is ragg wool so a little rougher than a merino or cashmere obviously but for layering and warmth it’s spot on! I recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Deegee97 from Warm but scratchy I love the color, overall style and fit of this sweater. It’s super warm and I love the pockets and zipper closure (Vs buttons). Unfortunately the collar is a bit higher than I wanted and also pretty itchy. If it were slightly less stiff or maybe slightly longer I could fold it down (which I tried, but it kept popping back up). Suggestion to maybe line the inner collar only with fleece so it’s less itchy (it doesn’t bother me in the rest of the body, only on my neck). I do also have the Sherpa-lined version (which is awesome!)...just wish the collar of this one could be lined to reduce itchiness!

Rated 5 out of 5 by PNWteacher from Nice Fit & Well Made I bought this for my daughter but kept if for myself when she didn't like it. It has well-fitted shoulders, which are a big deal for me. The wool is itchy, but the good quality and perfect shape make up for that. It is very warm.

I purchased this sweater in the Grey colorway. The stranded colorwork is perfect and adds to the warmth. I ordered a petite due to my height and it fits comfortably yet generously enough so it can be layered and used as a coat depending on the weather. I am very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TPBeanshopper from Winter Sweater This sweater is fantastic because it has pockets and a zipper which I have never had in a heavy wool sweater. It is warm and cozy and comfortable. Does have a high collar but I am always wearing turtlenecks at this time of year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CrazyFlamingoLady from Mostly great This sweater is beautiful and not itchy. It is very warm, which is what I wanted, but for some folks it may be too warm. Thank you for carrying petite sizes that are actually the right length for my arms. My only complaint is that I couldn't get the zipper to work; it wouldn't hook properly at the bottom and so I couldn't zip it up. I looked into exchanging it but the product wasn't available anymore. Plus, I don't think I should have to pay to send back a defective product. After about 20 minutes of fiddling I finally got it to zip; now I keep it zipped and treat it like a pullover.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Karen from Warm but SCRATCHY, stiff, and uncomfortable I was so excited to find this lovely fair isle pattern from Bean. However, although it is warm, the sweater is stiff, scratchy, and uncomfortable. It bulges in odd areas on my trunk, both when buttoned and unbuttoned. A petite extra small usually fits me beautifully, but in this case I found the torso to be a little too short. The worst problem, though, is that the neck is so horribly scratchy that it hurts to wear it. I even bought some turtlenecks to wear under it, but these did not solve the problem. The neck still hits me at an odd angle, especially when sitting. I will be returning it, I do not recommend it.
