Rated 5 out of 5 by DianeKS from LOVE LOVE LOVE! I'm a 65 yr old female and love the high pile fleece. This has a tad of wool in it in the fabric. I was outside in a downpour and was dry as dry could be as I believe the wool repelled some of the rain. The sleeves are unlined b/c it's easier to put on with a shirt if you wear this as a jacket, which I do. The hood is nice and soft when it's on my head tho a bit big but it does keep my head dry when it rains. I like the snaps as it gives you the option to keep it open a bit on the bottom if you want to. The pockets are deep and hold lots of stuff! I got a men's M and I'm 5'5' tall and weigh about 165. I'm very happy with the fit. I would get another in a heartbeat but I don't need any more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Frugaltoo from Hooded sweatshirt on steroids Just what I wanted. L.L.Bean quality. Smart design: Snug, comforting fleece lining, except in the sleeves. Sleeves lined with a fabric that allows for putting on the jacket easily. The hood makes this jacket perfect. Fits like an overshirt: not too heavy. Compares to a hooded sweatshirt on steroids.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Steve K from Close, but not close enough. Not a question with quality. The medium fit, for me, felt too tight. I wanted to use it as a warm shirt and the large would have probably been too large as a shirt. The cuffs need an extra snap for a tighter fit. I don’t like cuffs half way down my hand.
